Progressive
Finally after a five day wait, I've managed to open the Regular Saver. But can someone advise me how to add a linked account?
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0 -
ProgressiveNice to hear that some people are making progress with their application. After two days I got an eMail saying a message was waiting for me in online banking. A message that I can't access because online banking isn't setup because their identify validation system fell over... Muppetry.0

But can someone advise me how to add a linked account?Set up your nominated bank account after it acknowledges your payment has been received. (A "click here" appears on summary page). You cannot set up unless a payment has been received.Progressive doesn't recognize all sort codes, so it might tell you to phone them. They then get IT dept to sort & let you know when it's OK to set up. Whole process only took a few minutes. CS Helen very helpful.2 -
Try logging in. If initial identity validation fails, it is usually because the passport photo was blurry. Then they manually check and approve and send notification. Then once logged in, you have to apply for the account. Most fields are already populated. Takes a few minutes.CuparLad said:ProgressiveNice to hear that some people are making progress with their application. Have you tried calling them? My application failed, I phoned them and the first thing they did was setting up online access for me.CuparLad said:ProgressiveNice to hear that some people are making progress with their application. ProgressiveI received a call from Progressive about an hour after my last post. The person I spoke to admitted:
- They had no idea why I'd been sent an online message when there was no way I could access it
- They're overwhelmed with applications for the RS
- They are having lots of IT issues
- The only option was to reapply, which I did while they were on the phone. It failed at the first page.
It's been referred to IT to resolve, but there was "quite a backlog" of IT issues.4 - They had no idea why I'd been sent an online message when there was no way I could access it

Monmouthshire BS Regular Savers
Just a heads up for anyone who opened one or both of the Monmouthshire regular savers last August. I hadn’t logged into my online account since September and tried to do so yesterday, but got a message saying my password had expired and they will send a new code out by post … I thought it would be worth mentioning as the maturity dates approach so people can sort their online access out in good time!9 -
Monmouthshire
applied about 20th June, still haven’t been told if ID check passed or given log in details.Anyone know the timeline for when I should receive these letters?0
