My Tipton one matures September. If there is a delay I'm a local so visiting a branch isn't a concern.friolento said:
Oh, I had not registered that, thanks.allegro120 said:
It's not due until the end of this month. The full name of this account is "Tipton & Coseley Regular Saver until 31.07.24".friolento said:Anyone else got a Tipton Regular Saver Issue 1 (5.75%) that should have matured after 12 months but is still sitting there, weeks after the maturity date, with the title and interest rate unchanged?
Is there a similar end date on their Issue 2?0 -
I did a part payment by debit card and then filled it up by FP. Pushed through the payment, it worked, then set up the SO from the second part payment. Seems to have worked!SavingsBoo said:Progressive BS Regular Rainy Day Saver
I've got a little flurry of regular savers maturing this month so I've set up new ones with Principality and Progressive today (happy time updating my savings spreadsheet
).
I've had similar problems to other people with Progressive:
Nominated bank account - got an error when I tried to add Chase initially but have successfully updated to First Direct, thank you for the advice on that one!
Reference number for deposits - I did the first payment by debit card but when I've set up the standing order from Chase for the rest of the deposits I also got a warning about the reference number. The first SO won't go out until beginning of next month so was just wondering has anyone pushed past the reference number warning and seen a payment go through successfully? I've tried to read back a few pages through the comments but can't see anything apart from people having a similar issue, apologies if I have missed something.

I thought after the initial flurry, I'd give the Progressive a go. The registration for online worked OK (although the SMS is painfully slow at arriving), but the ID validation didn't work (a technical problem apparently).

Yes, I pushed past the warning and the money arrived to Progressive, no problem.SavingsBoo said:Progressive BS Regular Rainy Day Saver

Yes, consistently slow, takes almost a minute to receive SMS.CuparLad said:I thought after the initial flurry, I'd give the Progressive a go. Re ProgressiveA very nice lady (maybe the same one) got back to me today and stayed on the phone whilst I got through registration and I was then able to login. I have transferred this months money into my new account using my Halifax debit card but when I try to use the same account to set up the monthly standing order I get the client details not validated message.Do we know what bank accounts apart from First Direct work as I am trying to avoid a double transfer to pay in from next month.0

Thanks to everyone for the feedback on the nominated account issue with Progressive BS. As suggested I tried a different current account from Lloyds and found that my Santander account worked straight away. Thanks again.0

Would your Halifax account let you move past the message or does it stop you setting up the standing order altogether?FishInGlass said:Re ProgressiveA very nice lady (maybe the same one) got back to me today and stayed on the phone whilst I got through registration and I was then able to login. I set mine up from Chase and the name, sort code and account number matched but it came up with a message saying the reference number didn't match but allowed me to set up the standing order anyway.
The issue with the nominated bank details is a different one (the nominated account is not to do with the payments into the account but where you can pay out any withdrawals).
Hope I have understood you correctly! Someone has said just now that Santander worked for the nominated account.0 -
Has anyone enabled logging in with the method so many other societies use - a code texted to your phone and avoiding this authenticator stuff?0
