Ok, my defence is almost completed (will post soon)

Thinking a step ahead, can we give more than one witness statement? Our defence can only heavily rely on the account of the driver and not the keeper (defendant).

    How is this approached?
    one step at a time

post your defence because you promised to do so and havent

nobody will react until that basic promise has been fulfilled , you do the homework, post it , then the teachers or lecturers mark it , thats how it works

story telling comes at the WS + Exhibits + costs schedule stage, not the defence stage, more than one witness statement can be submitted, submit ten if you like , but that date is months away

personally, I am surprised that you expect bespoke lawyers to hang around this forum, never mind expert lawyers in the topic and field of private parking and laws surrounding it , who are willing to give that advice pro bono after a long day in their office doing legal work , the lawyers I know crash out on the sofa when they get home , or prepare for the following days cases etc , like teachers marking homework in the evenings and then preparing the following days coursework

I think that gets to the heart of the problem.  This isn't a forum for people wanting to become superhero parking offence lawyers, but for people seeking help to defend themselves as hopefully a one-off exercise, to be moved on from afterwards.
To carry on the engineering analogy, it would be like a solicitor rocking up to a mate who is handy with the spanners, and complaining that the gearbox on his car won't go into reverse - to be told that he should go away (preferably without reversing off the driveway), learn what a synchromesh is and how to assemble one, then come back with his diagnosis before being corrected by said mate-with-spanner, together with much sucking through teeth.

agreed, but the alternative is to send tham away saying

no idea how we can help you , go to the SRA findasolicitor site and search for a local lawyer who will assist you , for a fee larger than is owed, with no guarantee of success

having said that , this actual forum was never set up for court cases and it was very rare to see any back in 2012 or later, maybe the Martin Cutts one for the Peel Centre Stockport about ten years ago

the fact is that court cases have rocketed since the Beavis case was lost and this forum drowns in court cases , so much so that the core principles about parking tickets get lost in the quagmire of court case threads, its definitely a dogs breakfast and as I said , I agree that there should be a forum dealing with MCOL cases involving parking charges only (not owing builders money or landlords rent etc which is mainly what MCOL is used for !!)

this forum is now widely abused as regards court cases stemming from parking charge notices, but was never designed for it

I doubt that MSE admins will ever agree to do this because the parking companies would put pressure on them to get it stopped

legal beagles is the closet match for MCOL cases, including parking , as are pepipoo fightback forums for Council tickets such as parking and bus lanes etc

But bespoke engineers (in my case 31 years national motocross rider) hang around engineering forums offering advice to make the keen and inquisitive , the next faster and indeed fastest rider.
Did you know that altering the needle position on a Delorto carburettor by one groove upwards can add 550 rpm if the temperature and atmospheric pressure dictates. I could charge £50 for that advice or do it for the love of my profession and experience.
As you state, I'm fighting a parking ticket, from a distasteful gang of cowboys where you guys are the go to. I hope i've made a point of some kind.

sorry but you havent , because there are few if any legal goto guys (or gals) on this forum (can YOU name any on here ?)

ie:- you are not on a specialist parking ticket MCOL court claim forum and MSE does not have those legal specialists that you seek actively participating in cases like yours nor does it advertise as doing that either, nor do I know of any VCS court case that has concluded for this airport site in the 7 years I have been coming here

sure you can blind me with science on carburettors and I could probably do the same to you with a linux sat box and FTP files using flash FXP and reinstalling windows 10 from scratch from a usb stick on a laptop  and then installing the missing drivers , scanners and printers etc

but that topic isnt for here either

my last dellorto that I fiddled with was on a GP200 , but then I would go to a Lambretta enthusiasts forum for advice on the gearbox or fuel line if I needed specialist advice about Lambrettas , I certainly wouldnt come here !!! or if I owned Koi carp like my son does, I would go to a Koi carp forum, not a shark forum and certainly not a chefs forum

if this lady had a court claim over not paying a builder or failing to pay rent to a landlord or a car loan you would not be on this forum, you would be on an MCOL help and advice forum , or CAB , or legal beagles

That's (presumably) because you have a passion for engineering and understand that spreading knowledge makes the world a better place.  On the other hand, those who can charge £nnn/hr and are sick to the back teeth by the time they get home are less inclined to spread the word, especially when there is golf to be played. Of course there are going to be many in the legal profession who are passionate about what they do (or rather what effect what they do has), that they delight in practicing pro bono as-and-when.  Sadly RedX is no doubt correct in his assertion that there are very few specialists in this area, so the pool of talent is more of a puddle. A puddle that we are grateful to sip from, but nonetheless limited (and sometimes appear slightly fetid).

Please show us your defence draft based on other similar ones that deal with Ransomes versus VCS v Ward, like this person:
    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6098032/ema-east-midlands-airport-vcs-claim-form/p2

I showed you that example in February.  I gave you the 'here's one we did earlier' already so I have no idea why we are seeing all this grinding of teeth on this thread from two posters.

No-one just said 'search for this' (admittedly I often do, but I found you one!).

This stage is simply copy & adapt and write it with an early point stating the defendant was not the driver.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

So the date is nearly here. Case to be heard next week (online) and everything in place.

Received VCS witness statement today (7 days late). They have clearly doctored and enhanced two key photos within their witness statement. As a keen photographer I can prove this . The photos are very specific to my case and my own statement shows my own pictures taken on the day and two months later. This should be interesting. Their own witness statement should work against them. There are 4 pictures in their evidence pack that contradict mine and their own original CCTV pictures show me in the area in question.
