al rayan — Online banking is being switched off

I need some money urgently but can’t logon using the App;....after accepting  the pin it doesn't logon as  normal but it asks for username and password to be entered manually, which it accepts, and then asks for the 6-digit pin again,... but there is no way to input the pin!

Tried two different accounts and two different iphones,...same result.

Been using the App for several weeks without a problem until now.

Anyone else having this problem?

 edit: been trying on and off for over an hour without joy,...but just logged in successfully and completed a transaction.

Same here!...really robust their new App eh?....utter !!!!!!!!...again.

I was considering opening an Al Rayan cash Isa. Is it still possible to access online banking via desktop/laptop for a new account.  I dont have access to a device for using the app?

Yes but it is not the old online banking. It's a desktop version of the app now, and you need either the actual app or the Al Rayan authenticator app to access it

What sort of smartphone do you have? The Al Rayan authenticator runs on relatively old stuff.

Has anyone maaged to access online banking using "View new app via desktop" (using cronto image). I have been trying using Firefax, Chrome this error code kepps generated "An internal error occured with code -4999" ?

I wonder about other people experience.

I managed to loggon my mobile banking today. I have not tried any transacrion yet, but managed to see all of the trasactions until today.

I was seeing this error until I had registered properly for online banking.
Are you using the authenticator app?
This is what I use to scan the cronto image but as I said it did not work until I was properly registered.
All very confusing and not well explained but once you get it up and running it's quite reliable.

Hi Pete thank u for the head up. Yes indeed I am using the authenticator app. I have installed both Mobile App & the authenticator app. What browser are you using ??
