margaretx9 said:It took me several weeks and multiple deletions and redownloading of the app and multiple registration attempts. Once I got all the way there and it got to the bit where it checks your phone and I got the sad 'bad request' message for hours so had to start again - I nearly cried!!!!
But I have finally got it to work - I nearly gave up. Just ridiculous frankly!.

PS Sorry about the gallows humour - but attempting to set up their app is no help for anyone's mental health at this difficult time.1 -

I presume rates on other products will be dropping too - could have been a bigger drop I suppose given the base rate is only 0.1% - and you get 2 months notice of the change.0 -
my banking app when it usually asks for passcode and then lets me on, now redirects me to a page asking for username and password, I haven't used my username since we got forcefully moved to the banking app. Tried resetting and now completely locked out to point where I can't reset password, can't use telephone banking. Forced to ring their customer service0

Yeah some BS excuse about me logging on incorrectly even though I use thumbprint. Had to recover username and pass to get in, I rang at 9 and got straight through.0

I use the hard token as I do not have a smart phone. I managed to log in this morning on my macbook air ( having only received error messages when trying to use my mac mini desktop - cannot understand this at all as it worked perfectly first time round).
Screen asking whether you wish to use app or password.
On indicating password, screen asking for username and password (set up when registering the token).
Then proceed with the hard token involving cronto image, hard token pin, once time code received on hard token.
I have to say that not knowing whether or not the system will work is nerve racking..... as is the very thought of yet another hour long session on the phone.

Another half hour of my life gone in trying to make a payment out of the account.
I got as far as the "ready to review" only to find that there was (apparently), no means of so doing - scroll up/scroll down - nowhere to go - try View (zoom in /zoom out) no joy.
Phone AR and explain the problem - asked if I had tried zoom - answered in affirmative- but had I used zoom in Chrome.....how's that again?
Told to look for three dots on to right of screen and click, then to reduce to 80% - still no joy...finally, once I had reached 60% I could at last see review and continue on with transaction.....another wearying session with hard token/cronto etc etc.
I hope that I have a reasonable amount of patience but I've had it up to here with this not fit for purpose dog's dinner of a system - I have lost count of the hours I've had to spend on the telephone and I'd be making another complaint if it weren't for the fact that they still haven't dealt with the one made weeks ago.
All one can say is that their staff (once you get through) are unfailingly polite and helpful.
