Morning, just dropped car in to have the slow puncture sorted and a new bulb put in indicator as my side has gone. I spoke to them about booking a MOT in a couple of weeks and they can do it today, so i said ok.May as well get it done. Once it's done it's done. It was raining earlier but suns out now and it's warming up nicely. DS and GF going for a walk later and picking their prescriptions up. We have to do repeat prescriptions differently whilst lockdown is on. There are no paper repeats we have to send an email to an address with what we want and they contact chemists with the prescriptions. We have been told to order meds 10 days before we need them. So have wrote days on calender to remind us. I can see this having problems if we forget but that is the way they are doing it now so chemist has said.
Off to make a coffee, have a nice day and stay safe.

    Hi,
    Just checking in!
Glad you are both doing ok indie and leanfun.
We are doing lots of walking. Our local woods are pretty quiet and we can access them by walking through the empty golf course. My big shop last Wednesday is running out so will need to decide where to go tomorrow. DH suggested he went between 9 and 10 on Wednesday but I would rather go myself than have him go in. He is only 71 and pretty healthy but does take BP tablets.
Food shopping is a bit of a pain. I am 59 with  no health issues so don’t feel I am particularly at danger but scared I take something back to DH. Don’t feel it is right to ask other people to get us stuff but neither am I volunteering to do extra shopping for anyone else.
Still cant concentrate on entering many comps.
    Keep safe  everyone x

Afternoon, I think a lot of people are like that at the moment sheils, can't concentrate on comping.Hope your DD's shoulder has healed and work is not stressing her out too much.
My car passed it's MOT yesterday, so pleased with that.I have done my washing and some gardening this morning but had to come in as getting too warm for me now. Charlie loves this weather and is in and out all day when the back door is open.
    Stay safe..

    Afternoon
It's hot here today, just like a summers day.I did all my housework early this morning so I could relax this afternoon. I have been doing a puzzle and only got  a dozen or so pieces to finish it. It's years since I did one, lol. That's one good thing about the lock down we can do things that we have been putting off for a long time.Hope your all having a good day
    Stay safe.

Hi Firefly Great to hear from you and that you are coping with lockdown and have deliveries.  Here much the same.  We have been very fortunate to have deliveries and a nearby couple who have volunteered to call on.  Our DD1 lives 30 minutes drive away with no traffic and has GS to look after by herself plus working from home.  Our other children are far away.  Friends locally have had the virus but not needed to go to hospital.
Coincidentally DH was doing a puzzle a friend of DD1’s had put on Facebook and the friend commented on his answer then said she was relieved her soldier son had just come back from  Afghanistan early.  I didn’t know they were still going out there. I totally agree with the writer I have become really wound up with close relatives and neighbour who have health problems and are not taking this seriously. Just stay home.  The Queen said it all last Sunday.

Sunny here again this morning.  Agree Indie it’s  like a summer’s day.  I was out in the garden I’m clearing one large black sack each day and we were able to sit and have lunch out there.   The forsythia is still blooming and we have masses of Kerria all along one side of the garden.  They have never flowered so much for so long.  Before all this started four sparrows appeared in garden  so we hear the birds too.
    Take care everyone.

Morning, thanks for posting ff, I agree with them.Let's hope people listen and stay home now. Glad to hear your both ok, and getting deliveries.
It's lovely weather to sit in the garden leanfun, your flowers sound lovely and the birds must like visiting you. I have now lost track of the days and thought yesterday was friday, lol.
I have done my washing and plan to potter around in the garden later.
Hope you all have a lovely day.

That's a lovely greeting, very bright and colourful. With very true words.
Hope your all having a good easter, I was working yesterday and again today. We haven't anyone with the virus in there (thankfully) as so many homes seem to have it. The residents have their temperatures taken twice a day and there is enough PPE if needed. I was working on the residential floor yesterday and some of them made chocolate cakes in the morning, which was a great activity for them. I am on the nursing floor today so I will be busier but time should pass quickly. I have tomorrow off.
Have a good day and stay safe.

    Hi everyone,
Been lovely weather here and been doing  lots of walking in the local woods. Don’t usually go to them but because we can walk through the golf course now it makes them handier.
Quite often see red squirrels which is nice.
Had a surprise WEM from Mitsubishi- won a £50 Lifestyle voucher. We were entered as we had car serviced . Quite a few companies to choose from but lots are pubs and restaurants which I would normally have chosen but scared they will go bust now. Probably choose M&S as no Amazon on list. Also won a bottle of Prosecco for DD in a FB comp to recommend key workers.

Glad your home is keeping clear of the virus indie. DDs mental health hospital has also stayed clear which means DD still isn’t allowed to assist the main hospital. Obviously I am relieved about that.

Hope you are managing to get food deliveries ok leanfun. (and that you got some wine!)
Our Forsythia still blooming away too.

    Keep safe all x
