Afternoon
Beautiful day here but chilly. Just got 2 loads of washing dried and put away.I am a bit snotty today but everyone else seems ok.
I hope they do give your DD more staff sheils. They need more at the unit she is in. It's a worry for you knowing she can get attacked like that. When i was at work on sunday, the woman who we suspect has it was getting worse and although they are trying to keep her in isolation another resident started coughing. So suspect it will spread on the floor. Like your DD they only have paper masks and plastic pinnies, and gloves to wear when they go into the resident's room. After seeing the news last night and hearing they have shut most things down i can understand why. At least you and your DH can go for a walk everyday without feeling guilty. Your right about it feeling like we are in a horror film.
It's lucky we have gardens as we can get out and do some gardening as well as get fresh air, everyone should have lovely looking gardens by the time the crisis is over.
Stay safe everyone..1 -
Morning, That's lovely of those people to offer to help, I am amazed at the half a million people that have answered the call the help.My DS's friend at work is helping us whilst we are isolated, and she is shopping for DS's GF nan who lives around the corner from us as she is nearly 80 and a diabetic. So is staying home for 3 months.
As the weather has been nice i have got all the washing done and bedding washed and dried. Going to wash Charlie later and give him a haircut, lol. So he won't like me.
Stay safe everyone1 -
Morning all,
Glad everyone is doing ok in the circumstances. The weather has been brilliant here, going to do a long walk later. It is a quiet one, usually disturbed by traffic but should be quieter now.
DD has had to go off work as in agony with her shoulder which was hurt in the two attacks. She was due to do 14hrs today and a shift tomorrow and then officially off for 6 days although she was only meaning to take 2. A Dr told her she was risking arthritis if she didn’t let it recover properly.
Seems to be something new to worry about everyday.
It is really quiet up our way as most people self isolating or semi isolating. Been shouting across from our gardens.
Waiting on phone call to sort out booking we had at a Forest Holiday up north. Think they will let us transfer it to same date next year. Could get credit note but as I got such a good price with 20% off that I would prefer that. Wonder how many more will need to cancelled.
Hope everyone keeps well. XMar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Morning
Hope your DD gets her rest sheils. Hopefully you can change the dates on your trips till this is all over.
Great news about getting a priority shop leanfun.Enjoy your wine, lol.
We were outside last night at 8 giving our clap for the NHS. The neighboUrs were there as well, lol. I won't be getting our helper to get my meds as rung the chemist yesterday and prescription is in but the queue was between 30 mins to 3 hours long.It started at 8 in the morning( they don't open till 10) and it was only 11 when i phoned. It's so long as shortage of workers and pharmacists off self isolating Our helper works night and I can't ask her to line up for hours when she has been to work all night. I will try to eek out what I have with paracetamol.
Charlie did sulk yesterday but i had a squeaky pig toy hidden so gave him that as a treat, he soon forgave me.
It's a nice sunny day here so will get out and clean car.
Stay safe everyone

Yes it does, I rung up my Dr's surgery to see if there was another way I could get them and sadly there wasn't. She said she stood in a queue for an hour the day before to get meds for her mum. So looks like it is all over this area.I expect it's the same most places.1

Morning, glad to hear your sister is a bit better today. Hope the anti biotics kick in soon for her.Good you got some veg, not good you didn't get the wine, lol. Never mind when this is all over your have to have a bottle. I have just been out and started my car up to keep her running as she is getting on now and i don't need a flat battery when i can go out again. I had a bad night trying to sleep and have got up full of cold, sneezing coughing ect...Took temp and it's just over 37 so don't think i have virus just a cold.My DS nad his GF are fine no symptoms of a cold ect.
It is a worry chemists are not doing repeats, does that mean they won't collect them, you have to do that. DS's GF's nan told us last night she only has a week of insulin left and it won't last till we can go and get some so she is contacting her DR's on monday. Then we can make plans to see what they can do to get her some.Very worrying times as you say.
Stay safe everyone

Indie DD has just seen an advert on Tv about prescriptions and sent this link
https://www.pharmacy2u.co.uk/ Do you know anything about them? Will try to check them out.

I have seen them advertising but don't know anything about them. No one I know uses them. Maybe put the question on the Coronavirus support and help board. Someone may be able to advise you about them
DS spoke to Nephew today and he is out of quarantine Monday and he will pick meds up for me, and her nans. His boys have accepted staying in now they know they have to do it because the police will be patrolling the streets,lol.0 -
thanks Indie. Pleased to hear your nephew is soon out of isolation and will be able to help you re collecting prescriptions great relief especially for DS’s GF. It must be so hard for young people. Their world have been turned upside down.0

Hi everyone,Thought I was logged out as no compliment buttons! There seems to be lots of problems everywhere, hope everyone manages ok.Sorry you didn't get your wine leanfun. I went to Tesco earlier and was shocked to see so many people in masks, really freaked me out! I got quite a few things without having to queue though and I got a nice bottle of Pino! Just got to take what they have TBH.The police seem to be being fairly hard handed on people by what I hear. DD says they run a mile when nurses produce their ID!DS3 was bad and hitched a lift from a sailor friend to get back to his GF. To be fair he never really intended to stay here but with the lockdown was scared to try and get back by public transport.Been playing the Bee Gees after DH said he was just interested in Staying Alive when I asked him if he wanted salad with his pizza! On to Grease now so drinking wine and having a little dance!!!Take care.sheils xMar Wins :- £2 GfK Media
