Hi Katie great to hear from you and that you are well.  Great you are able to enjoy your dancing at the centre.  Hope you can find your way around new site. Some of us are just entering as the competitions are posted on the main board now as search is not working as the one in the old forum did.   Good luck.
Sheils and Indie great you had good birthdays.  I made a mistake my friend’s birthday is today.   Luckofthedraw I had to smile at your post about the toilet rolls.  We have just bought about the same as usual. I just looked up and the first Tesco online for our area is Friday.
Feeling really tired here as I went on the train to visit DD2 for the day on Saturday. It’s over two and haLf hours each way. I was lucky no rain and sunny there. The two of us managed to have a nice lunch out and then it was great to spend time with her two.
Take care everyone and good luck.

Morning, I agree with you luckofthedraw ref washing the hands. My son said to me have these people not washed their hands before. I did have an email the other day to win loo rolls, lol. Just had one from wowcher selling 54 loo rolls for £11.99. I kept a straight face and said to my DS "Think i will get 2 lots and sell them £2 for 2 rolls."...lol.Then he realised i was winding him up. Naughty me. I did manage to get a pack yesterday but can't see the point of buying loads.
Glad you had a good day yesterday Katie.
Hope you got some rest leanfun, sounds like you were lucky with the weather as well
I am hoping to get out in the garden later, but it's very dark here at the moment. Hope you all have a lucky day.
  • Hi everyone
Been into work today for an hour to talk about going back in stages!   Crikey give me chance I'm still with pins and infection LOL!! and my sick note runs out in two weeks .  Oh well it was nice to see friends faces and a catch up.  Giggled at your loo roll joke to DS Indie.  I had a hand sanitiser on my desk at work from ages ago,  and was surprised it was still there!  must be worth a bit on the black market hee hee.   Glad you enjoyed Zumba Katie.   Hope you are feeling less tired Leanfun and train journey a distant memory - that was a long journey!
I am making hopefully sausages mash peas for dinner - sausages in oven , just got to boil spuds and peas.  I am hungry already
    Speak soon x

Morning, never thought about the hand sanitiser luckofthedraw, there is loads of it in work,we could make some serious money here, lol.Hope you enjoyed your sausage casserole the other night.I was at work yesterday it was ok. I had an emergency appointant at Drs this morning as been up since 1.30 with an itchy rash all over my body. She seems to think it's an allergic reaction to something .Told me to try anti-histamines if they don't work to go back. My friend brought her puppy in last night before i left work and  i did give it a few cuddles, lol was wondering if i could be allergic to it's fur although i have a dog myself, hers has different fur. Oh well we shall see what the pills do.
It's sunny here but windy and cold, just debating whether to put  my washing out.
Hope you all have a good day.

  • Hi all,
very warm and sunny here today, but last 2 days has been torrential rain and storms again!  Indie glad your rash has gone I get that with ibuprofen the itchiness is so annoying so don't take them .  Wonder whether the dog had been shampooed in something that disagreed with you? pampered pooches lol!  Leanfun hope grandson has a great birthday.  Know what you mean about this virus its very worrying after yesterdays statement from PM.  The information keeps changing that its getting confusing -

Thanks thanks Luckofthedraw.  Know what you mean about confusion with information.    Earlier DD1 phoned that the mother of one of GS’s friends has been advised to stay at home.  GS’s friend is fine but just in case we are not going over.  So we decided just to take GS’s presents over there while he was in school.  Traffic is usually so busy at that time but we were there and back in no time.  It’s such a shame as it’s warm here too and we saw quite a few spring flowers.

Morning, we had a nice day here yesterday but i was working. I got up this morning to torrential rain, but it's passed now. On the weather forecast  this morning they said from next  weds the whole country will have sunshine...yay.
We have now limited familys to one visit a week to relatives in the home but they have been informed they can see them and talk to them on ipads we have at the home. One lady is in for respite and she has another 6 weeks to go but i am glad they have limited her family as she has 4 lots of visits a day from family members and when we had the D& V they took no notice of the floor being closed.Sounds harsh but if they take no notice of that who says they won't come in with a fever.
The cinema my son works in has had all the big blockbusters put back so are showing films already been seen. It's a worrying time as affects everyone. We can only try to stay as well best we can.
I hope your GS had a good birthday leanfun,
I can't take ibuprofen luckofthedraw as it goes through me in 5 mins but the peritone is working. I have 1 a day and will carry on for a few more days.
I am taking sons GF into work and picking a few bits up. Hope you all have a good weekend.

    Hi everyone,
Hope you are all well. We are all fine but worrying a bit but all the family. Looks like DS1 wont be coming home in May, DS2 has his hours cut at moment for next week, DS3 is finding it more difficult to get agency work although has been offered a fulltime job where he has been working. He is going back there on Monday, they have permanent weekend cover all year. Worried about DD being in the firing line when the virus does hit us here as she is doing too many hours already. Also got my parents to think about!
Had a nice break in the Scottish Borders anyway. Have cancelled our next break to Lincoln, Skegness and Bridlington, only had a few days left before I could cancel them free so just did it. You will realise how upset that made me! I have 2 sisters who have foreign holidays coming up soon which is worrying for them. Poor Sylvia is in Cyprus, they arrived just before the ban so is waiting to see what will happen to get them back . Saw today planes being turned back from Spain.
The town DS2 was working in in Austria is in lockdown now so glad he is back in Scotland!
I haven't done any competitions really as didn't have internet on holiday and haven't felt like it since we got back.
Must be really worrying in the home indie, so dangerous for old people.
Sunny here at moment but rain supposed to start soon.
Must get on. Good luck to all x
