Morning, it's great you could all get on facetime leanfun. I think it puts your mind at rest to see everyone is ok.I hope your DS is feeling better, well done on getting him a shop. Hope he gets everything you ordered. We had a resident go to hospital on Monday and they sent him home yesterday, everyone in the home is a bit nervous he has been quarantined for 2 weeks but the hospital have said he is EOL,so we are just giving him palative care. He had a swab taken when he got to hospital but not when he left so we will have to wait and see.
It's a beautiful day here and said to get hotter as the days go on till the weekend. I have given Charlie a haircut this morning and will give him a bath later. I have a few things to pick up at the shops then will just comp the rest of the day, lol.
Hope you have a lucky day0 -
Morning, I know what you mean about time just going. Sometimes I don't know what day it is, glad your DS is feeling better. Charlie sulked for a couple of hours but then forgave me when he realised I had a treat in my hands. It's another hot day here and i have my washing out and have watered the plants. Just having a snack and coffee then may have a nap as I didn't sleep well last night.
Hope you have a lucky day

Morning, sorry to hear your friends DH dementia is getting worse leanfun. It is hard when families have to stay away and can't help.Let's hope it's not too long now before families can get together. I was at work yesterday and now have a couple of days off. They have said the hot weather will be returning so should be able to get out in the garden and do some work out there.
Have a good day,stay safe..0 -
Had a little win on IG this morning, a pot of face mask. Hopefully more winners as there were 20 pots to give away.0

Morning, Another nice day here, washing is already out and housework is done for the day. I see more shops can open next month, the queues should be interesting trying to get in. I am just glad I don't have to organize it as must be a headache for the owners and workers. We have no idea when DS can go back to work as they won't be able to clean all the seats between showings of films. We have fumigating bombs at work, when a room becomes empty it is deep cleaned then a bomb (that's what they call it,lol) is put in there and the room is locked for 24-48 hours. I don't think the cinema could afford to do that to every screen after it's been full. We will just have to wait and see what happens in the coming months.
Have a good day

Indie agree with you about all the measures that are going to be in place when things begin to open again. Must be very frustrating for your son. Sounds as though your home is doing everything they can to protect their residence. My friend’s daughter called my DH’s meds yesterday and said the home my friend is in is now free of the virus. The bomb’s they are using where you work sound interesting Indie.Well here I have been bitten a number of times on the legs and feet. One on my foot I scratched so that didn’t help. So on Wednesday I had a rash all over my foot. There have been a lot of problems with chemists either closing or too many customers near us but my neighbour told me of a chemist on an estate. So DH got the car out and we drove there. It was a good find a large shop with no queue. The antihistamines they gave me said would not make you drowsy but it has. Foot is still itching despite cream. We are now sure I have been bitten out in the garden.
This last week I started from the end of the comps and went through doing any I had missed can’t believe how slow I have become. It’s already nearly the end of another month.Take care everyone.0 -
Ouchie, it's horrible when a mozzie or gnat takes a fancy to you and the bites begin. You probably did get them from the garden as I get bit when I go out in the gardens at work. Hope the itching stops soon. So glad your friend's home is now virus-free. We had a staff member take the test just because she could and it was positive although she showed no signs so she is now self-isolating for 2 weeks. We have got the chemist sussed our end now (touch wood) they are open till 6.30 in the week and if we go at 6ish there is no one waiting. So straight in and out.
I have no plans for the weekend yet as was working tomorrow but they cancelled so have the whole weekend off. May try and catch up with EOM. Have a good weekend

Yes, it is a strange virus. It also makes it dangerous not knowing you have it. I would have been like you if I thought I had bed bugs, mine would have been the cleanest bedroom in the area after going manic cleaning it,lol.
You would have thought chemists were busy so to close at this time is strange.0
