Sounds sounds like lots of snow going about!
We had some forecast for tonight but none yet. Hoping we don’t get any as DH due for his jab tomorrow. DD still feeling tired and not sounding 100% so not sure they are letting her go back to work on Wednesday.
Nice to see all the Covid cases etc go down but as they seem to be moving all the goal posts it doesn’t look like we will get out of this nightmare for a long time.
Hope everyone manages to keep their spirits up.

    Good Morning :)

Woke up to now 4 inches of snow lying on the ground and drifting in places so even deeper, Dad cleared the front path when we got home so that we would not bring the snow in on our feet and of course he was just finished when it started falling again. Minus 7 windchill temps forecast for today so take care if out.

Hope Yer Man gets his jab OK sheils, our neighbour gets his on Friday and his work was not going to give him time off to get it (WFH) so he quit his job, they came back and backtracked.

I can't see us going far today but we might at least get to the park.
    Have fun

Morning.  It’s more ❄️❄️  Here today too.    Quite a layer over night and it’s so cold it’s not going to melt soon and looks like more coming.  Unusual for us it usually only lasts one day.   Duncan your way sounds even more brrrrr take care.   Duncan’s Dad there’s something wrong with the company your neighbour works for.  Good for him standing his ground.
Sheils hope there’s no problem your DH going for the vaccine.  Pleased they are taking care of your DD.  Indie said how tired they all felt even when they seemed to have recovered.
I had a phone call from GP’s to go for vaccine on Thursday or Friday but while I’m so much better I’m not 100% and the forecast here is for 1 degree.  I would need husband to drive me there. So I said I would wait for next appointments.  Next week here should be 7 degrees.

    Stay warm and take care.

    Morning,
Gorgeous sunny day here although a bit cold. No snow at all.
DS3 says the snow is horrendous in Perth.
DH just got his vaccine ,thank goodness for that. Thought businesses would have wanted their staff to get them Duncan. Ridiculous.
Shame you aren’t getting yours yet leanfun. DH could have walked to get his but I think when it is my turn I will need to go 30miles to get it.

    Good Morning :)
Good to hear from you firefly, see you round the board a lot but you should pop in here more often, even just a 'hello I have nothing to add'
More snow overnight, about 2 inches judging by the bird feeders in the photo, all the paths that were shoveled and gritted yesterday are needing done again today, not much more expected here but the temp will struggled to get up to zero never mind above.
Dad has run out of fruit and as that is about all he is eating at the moment, I will need to take him to the shop for more, if I am not back by noon, send out a search party.
Another neighbour has had to cancel his jab due to not being able to get to the centre where they are doing it, he could not get his car out of the street and did not want to risk the bus.
We are getting a lot of birds at the feeders and they will need filling again today, only one blackbird in the tree though when the photo was taken this morning.
    Take Care.

Lovely picture, that's what I call snow. Our snow didn't last long. It's snowing again but only tiny bits. Hope you and your dad don't need a search party today Duncan, I am sure your be ok. I saw on the news some temps were -17 up there
Good to hear from you firefly, glad to hear your keeping ok.
We went to Drs yesterday as DS had an appointment and it was full as they are a vaccine hub.Luckily it's a big health centre so they were using one half and Drs the other half.
I have housework to catch up with today and need to pop to Lidls as well
Hope you all have a good day
    Stay safe

Gosh Duncan that is snow! Have very seldom seen snow like that here and probably only twice in our own town.
Pretty frosty this morning, think it was supposed to get down to -4 which is cold for us. Sun out now though so hopefully get a walk. DH not feeling his best after the jab but glad to get it. Probably have a shorter walk with him and then another on my own. We did a nice long walk by the river yesterday.

Glad you are ok firefly. You are right about the downs, although lucky compared to lots of people.

Hope your DS got on ok at the Drs indie. Must admit housework has suffered here as no-one visiting except DD!

Morning.  It’s snowed again overnight here but not as much as you Stevemja.    The road at the front of our house has been gritted but not the one at the side.
FireFly great to hear from you.  Seems everyone has some snow.  So pleased the gardeners have gritted your paths and you are able to get out to feed the birds.  As you say these have been difficult times for all. The vaccines bring some light at the end of the tunnel we just have to hang in there. Take care.

Duncan hope you are back from the fruit shopping and are beginning to thaw out.   What a lot of snow a bit like the snow our DS had but I think it’s thawing there.
Don’t know what happened but when I popped in it earlier I could only see FireFly’s post strange.
