Morning cooler here today.  Indie great your tests came through quickly hope all is ok for you.  Do hope the home has tested and has results before you go back to work.   There are so many people testing positive with no symptoms.
Duncan’s Dad it sounds crazy at your surgery.   DH went for flue jab yesterday and was not impressed with how they were running things at our surgery.
Yesterday when DH went to fetch the bins in he found a parcel in porch.  I told him to open it and it was Bluebottle goes to War   Peter Sellers book.  He was delighted and started reading it straight away.  He said he had read heard about the book.  So a welcome surprise win.
We are off for eye tests this afternoon.  The optician we go to is in a shopping centre but we can park the car in a nearby supermarket car park.   Just a shame it’s a Friday but it was the only appointments that came up and we have been looking for weeks.

    Stay safe all.

Good Morning from a cold and wet Fife.
Dad got his B12 injection yesterday and this time the nurse got ready before calling him in, she also made an appointment for a flu jag in 3 weeks time at the sports pavilion along the road, when he asked why he could not just get it while he was there as he is one of the 'at risk' groups, answer was that they don't do that kind of thing.
Well done on the book win leanfun, if it is as good as Milligan's diaries it should be a good read.
    Have fun.

Morning suns out here but it's cold. I have the heating on to warm the house up. I don't understand why they can't do the flu jabs where your dad got his B12 jab, Duncan. I saw a DR on tv saying they only have small fridges so can only keep so many of the flu jab in them. Our surgery has always done blood tests up until last month, now we have to go to a hospital to get them done. We have 2 hospitals and one always did them as well, with 5 cubicles but they are not doing them either now so we have to go to the furthest away hospital with 2 people doing it, and last time DS sat there for 45 minutes before he got in and we rung for results to be told they can't find them. So looks like we will have to go and have it done again. Never mind these things are sent to test us and testing us they are, lol.
Well done on the book win leanfun, hope your DH is enjoying reading it. I love surprises like that, but I love reading when I get the time.
Charlie would love your bin days ff, as he has a good bark when he hears them coming.
I haven't had results back yet from tests, and no-one else at work came back positive so we will see. DS and his GF are working today so i will do some washing and shopping then relax.
    Have a good day
    Stay safe

Morning.   Thanks re book win.  DH started reading it when he should have been getting ready to going for flue jab so he really likes it as he doesn’t read many books.
Duncan’s Dad sounds a bit better at your surgery but sounds crazy about the flue jab.   It probably means they have been given to a private company.
We were very lucky as we dodged the rain yesterday.  We were out for hours as supermarket car park only allowed an hour and half parking and we had to go and move car.  Anyway good news. DH had the beginnings of cataracts last test and he was concerned they were worse but photos showed they were the same.  Problem has been the glasses I took for repair broke again and he’s been wearing a really ancient pair for distance.  When he has new pair we will be able to drive to see our DS.   Seems I now too have the beginnings of cataracts, which I’m not surprised about.  Just need to go again in a year for another test.  We were very impressed with safety measures at the opticians.
Hope test results come soon Indie.
Weekend again.  Hope everyone stays safe.

    Good Afternoon All
    Lovely day here weather wise.
We went to the shop this morning, watched football at lunchtime and Dad was out in the garden after that with his pruning hat on, not finished yet though as the bin is full so he scarified the lawn.
We have had mince for our tea today, Dad gave me a couple of spoons full into my dish before he added the onion, it was torture waiting for it to cool down.
    Take Care.

Morning, good news about your DH eyes leanfun.Hope he doesn't have to wait too long for his new glasses. I think most people get cataracts as they get older, hope yours don't change much over the next year.
I hope you waited till the mince cooled down Duncan, and enjoyed it when it did. Your dad has been busy in the garden. I need to get out and tidy my plants up outback, I was planning today but it's very dark and overcast out there at the moment so will just have to see how the weather is later. We still haven't got out test results back so hopefully, they will come in later.
    Have a good day
    Stay safe

Morning chilly and dull here this morning.  Indie I hope to go out in garden today too.   Hope your test results come through soon.  Agree with you about cataracts most of our friends have had operations for them.   When DH has new glasses we will drive to visit our DS.
Over the weekend we heard that one of our friends has gone into hospital with pneumonia and the virus.  He has Parkinson’s and has been looked after by his wife and carers.
Duncan pleased to hear you had a brighter day yesterday and were able to go out.  I hope to prune a bush in front garden.   Ex daughter in law has taken the two GS’s from North West of Glasgow up through Glencoe and last pic she put in Facebook was Loch Ness.  Looked fairly good weather.  We are missing them as we have had no contact with them since August.  I’m going to send them a parcel.  I’ve won a few books for them and have other odds and ends.
Firefly hope you have been out to feed the birds.
Here’s hoping for a good week for all.  Take care.

    Good Morning :)
Wet here again but not as heavy as yesterday, we have a long walk coming up at 10am so I hope it eases off by then, even I am getting fed up and that has only been 2 days.
Dad got word back about the golf club, it will take up to 8 weeks to be delivered, delays due to the covid.
Hope your test results were clear indie, it must be torture waiting so long for the results.
    Take Care.

Afternoon, my results came in this morning. We are all negative thank goodness. , it's cold here today but dry, I hope you had your long walk Duncan. That would have blown the cobwebs away. Glad to hear they got back to your dad ref the golf club or he would have been wondering where it was.
I hope your friend is doing ok in hospital leanfun, it is a worry with Covid numbers going up again. Your GS's will love their parcel you send them.Hopefully, it won't be too long before you can see them again.
Hope you have a good afternoon
    Stay safe.
