Don't know what options to select or what to do with it when it arrives but these are good things to worry about1 -
Duncan’s Dad well done on the golf club win. I’m sure you will have a relative who plays golf. There are so many golf courses in Scotland. Years ago we used to go to Scotland with our youngest our son so he could play golf. We used to fly up and then hire a car and off we would go staying near near nine hole courses. DS didn’t want his Dad playing with him as I don’t think Dad was too good at it. We used to go off by ourselves and come back later.
There aren’t that many comps for golf equipment so big congratulations.2 -
Evening All
We got an email back from Dad's brother with advice on what options to ask for so he is all set that way, also got another message letting us know that Dad's details have been sent to the actual prize giver and that they will be in touch within the coming week.
A quiet day here with some sunshine but also a cold wind, nice for October though.
Dad cut the grass this afternoon for probably the last time until spring, he still has to feed the lawn and sow seed on various parts of it.
My big achievement of the day was barking at the bin lorry

Duncan pleased to hear your Dad has been able to have ideas for the golf prize. Great prize for a golfer. It was sunny here too yesterday a great October day. Dull today. I cut our bit of grass recently and ours could do with some reseeding were shrubs grew too much.
You would have great fun barking here today as some bins are emptied early others much later.Take care all.2 -
Morning, well done on the golf prize Duncan's dad. It's raining here and very windy today.
Work did their COVID tests Monday and 2 came back positive yesterday, a kitchen worker and a day nurse. Neither came in so they must have got the results early in the morning The kitchen worker is married to a nurse that works nights so that's 3 off for a fortnight. They still had 21 tests to come back when I left last night. I texted my DS to send off for 3 tests for us, although it's not long since we did them, I have to have another one. I can't complain really as we have kept the virus away from the home for 7 months and it had to come sooner than later. Fingers crossed we haven't got it. I have today off and need to pop out for some milk and fruit and veg but not going any further.
Hope you all have a good day
Stay safe3 -
Evening, the tests came before lunch so we did them and posted them off this afternoon. Should have the results back before the home has done theirs,lol.2

hi all, been a mixture here today with sunny spells then showers, feeling a bit nippy tonight though.great your dad got golf prize sorted duncan, lol, think you'd enjoy it here for barking at bin men, 1 day a week we have 4 large four wheeled big rubbish containers emptied then on the following day 2 large recycling bins emptied per block & there's 6 blocks so it's a lot of action going on with the bin lorriesfingers crossed tests come back good for you indie, our local news says our city is high figures now & we may be getting a local lockdown, just hoping we can still get shopping deliveries if it happenstake care all xplease be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.1

Good Morning All
Cooler here this morning but clear skies mean sunshine
Good luck with the testing indie. We keep hearing that there are small 'clusters' of infections all round us but I have yet to hear of someone that we know has it, it will be a stranger that passes it on more than a friend anyway.
Dad has his B12 injection this afternoon and if it is like the last time, he sits in the room with the nurse while she puts on all of her PPE, what a waste of time that is, if one of us has anything, it will have been passed on by the time she is finished. Bad thing for me is that he is taking the car AND it is just about my dinner time that he goes
Take Care.1
