    Hi All
Well done on the various wins.
Indie, even I think the rules are stupid, either send them home or lock them up but don't let them wander about all over the place if the virus is in the building, the govt may want 'herd immunity' but that doesn't work when you have workers in there from outside and students inside going out.

I am a bit sheepish this morning after yesterday, I have blisters on all my feet with my front left being the worst, Dad has cleaned them with a special mix that he got from the vet but I licked that off straight away.
He walked into the town centre himself this morning and was asked twice where I was, I don't think that I will be going very far today.
    Take Care.

Quite pleasant here today afrter rain overnight.  I’ve been out in the garden filling garden bin again.  We even had our lunch out there.
Firefly sorry to hear about your cold.  Hope you are able to have some rest and have some easy meals.  Remember to drink plenty.  If you have some garlic make some garlic bread in toast. It worked for me when we had colds in January.
Indie pleased to hear your tests were negative.  Totally agree with you about the residents.  You definitely should not be working there and then going onto the other floors.   In taking care of yourself you are also protecting the residents you work with.   It’s very worrying that as Duncan says there are so many stupid rules and people do not use common sense.    We have to do what we think is right for us and those we come in contact with.  Take care.
Duncan cant blame Dad for leaving you at home today.  He must still be recovering from your antics yesterday.  You would be in all week if it was me.
End of month again this pandemic time is strange sometimes the time seems to drag and then it speeds by.
    Take care all.

hi all, had a nice day here weatherwise & been taking it easy, drank lots of sliced lemon in hot water since yesterday & also been doing the old fashioned hot water in the sink with towel over head to clear sinuses, least can breathe a bit better now & hopefully will be getting some food down me tomorrow as can't face eating food at the mo so have just been having a bit of tomato soup, thanks for the help re garlic bread leanfun, sounds good & will try some tomorrow,
good news your tests were negative indie, you & all in your profession, carers, keyworkers, etc  deserve IMHO one heck of a decent pay rise for all you do,
hope feet are feeling a bit better today duncan,
    take care all.

Morning.  Hope you feel better today FireFly.  Sounds as though your cold has been really bad.
Agree with you about Indie’s work.  It’s so important and so underpaid.
Duncan hope your feet are a lot better.  I think it probably would be easier taking you out than have you careering around indoors.  Hope you are on your best behaviour if you do go out.  Don’t pull Dad along.
Forecast rain hasn’t come here yet.
    Take care all.

Good Morning, raining here since before 6am and getting quite heavy now.
We have only been out twice so far today, my front feet are still sore and I can't walk very fast until I hear a bin lorry then I am back up to full speed and the sore feet are forgotten.
Dad's heels have cracked so he has that to add to his normal sore feet and that means that he is walking slow as well.
FF, the secret to getting rid of a cold is to give it to someone else ;) add to that, plenty of plain water and fresh air.
    Have a good day.

Morning, sunny here at the moment but has been raining in the night. It really rained yesterday, I had to be careful driving to work as it was just sheets of rain coming down and the windscreen wipers were not really helping. It was the same when I came home in the evening with huge puddles on the road.
Your feet will take ages to heal if you keep chasing the binmen Duncan but can't say a lot as Charlie runs all around the back garden  barking when he hears them coming.Your dad could try putting some cracked heel cream on his heels, we use it in work when needed and it does work but should be used as directed. I hope his feet heal soon.
I had 2 wins yesterday a Sylvanian house with a family and a £20 toy shop voucher (IG) and a my weekly win of high protein cakes so that was a nice end to the month. I have some shopping and washing to do later.
Hope you all have a good day

Duncan sounds as though you are both slowing up with feet problems.  Duncan’s Dad Indies idea of cracked heal cream sounds good, I’d you have not got some already. Hope you both take it easy with walks today.
indie well done on the wins, great prizes. Rain your way sounds bad we had rain too but not so much.   It’s sunny here this afternoon.
Firefly hope you are feeling a bit better.  The colds seem to be lasting awhile.
    Take care all.

Apologies for this, I always get lost. Anyone know who the new Fuzzy celeb is in this week's  LOVE IT magazine. Or show me the way to the thread please.

Morning, Another wet day here. I was due to go to work but they canceled. I am not bothered as I took tomorrow as a  shift so that will make up for it. DS and his GF are working today so I have the day to myself. Well just me Charlie and Obi, they will keep me busy.lol.
I hope your cold is on the way out now ff. I can never find anyone who wants to share my cold, when I get one I  do explain that someone must have shared theirs with me, lol. But never get any takers.
Hope you all have a good weekend
    Stay safe
