    Afternoon
That's good news leanfun. I bet you already checked that drawer but missed it last time. I do that all the time
It was chilly here this morning but has warmed up now, I haven't seen any butterflies yet Duncan, but keeping my eyes open as they always put a smile on my face. I have just upset Charlie as cut his nails and he hates it but they grow so quickly. It didn't help that Obi kept bopping him on the nose wanting to play with him at the same time. lol.
I hope you have all had a good day

Indie picturing Charlie going though the trauma of nail cutting with Obi bopping about made me smile.  Wonder you managed it.
I certainly did check that draw before.   Today after lunch a postman knocked with two lots of the remedy.   Also an hour later another knock and a jug DH ordered earlier in February turned up with our normal postal delivery.

ThIs afternoon a friend phoned after not hearing from her for weeks.  They had a new phone ages ago and in blocking nuisance calls I can’t get through to them on their landline and when I phone her mobile she doesn’t answer.    They live a long whay from us.  She and her husband are DH’s age sadly he has some form of dementia.  While she was on the phone he got up from a nap and she said for me to talk to him.  He knew who I was but when I asked about his Granddaughter he didn’t recognise her name.  I think it probably because he doesn’t associate me with her.   His DD has brought him some jigsaw puzzles and he seems to be able to do them but is doing little else.  He used to do nearly everything in their house so it’s very hard for her now and so sad.

Another dessert like the roasted peaches.   We tried roasted plums.  Just cut them in half put them in oven dish skin down.  Very small amount of sugar where stone had been, then sprinkled ground almonds and almond flakes on top.  In oven 15 mins 180 degrees.  They were really tasty.
Been raining here n and off today.
    Take care all.

We are still up and have weather on TV.   They just said 18 degrees somewhere in Scotland today!  It’s woken us up.  You must have had a proper heat wave Duncan.  Hope Dad had sun cream to the ready.

    Good Morning :)
Dad has been using sun cream for a couple of days now (already), it won't be long until the sun hat comes out of storage at this rate, not so much for the heat but the UV that is hitting his 'solar panel'

He is doing a lot of plant exchanges just now so I am missing out a bit but it is good to see all the new people when they come to collect. We are going out to do some deliveries this morning so he is out there digging again just now.

    Take Care.

Morning, just seen the weather for today and it's the same again today leanfun. That must be where our sun has gone, lol.
Can you send some sunshine down here Duncan, we will return the favour...honest.
Glad you finally got to talk to your friend leanfun, and nice the husband remembered you. That's dementia for you, you can remember long ago but not present day. How funny that your creams have turned up, I know they said a while ago that the post was slow and they were bogged down with parcels in some places but thought that was all sorted. Oh well, you now have enough to last a while. I haven't got anything planned for today yet.
Hope you all have a good day

Afternoon.   Well done Indie sounds an interesting win.
Well great excitement here we have been out!     We went in the car to one of our nearest parks and had a good walk around it.   We are both a bit tired now but it was great to be out.  There weren’t many people in park as schools are back.    You needed to keep to the paths as it was quite muddy from all the rain.   Forgot to say it was very sunny thanks Duncan.   Hope you had the sun too Indie.   It was 11 degrees in the car so not that hot but just right for the walk.
    Take care.

    Hi all,
Had some lovely weather this week. Nearly got burnt and saw butterflies! Had some nice outings to beaches and the countryside. Been doing some gardening too.
Well done on the win indie.
Your mail sounds annoying leanfun. Ours seems to be ok. Glad you had nice walk in the park.

I've come back to comping after many years.. Been playing again for last 2 months and not won anything yet. Fingers crossed for future ones..
I have noticed that there are far fewer people from the forum winning stuff than when I played before. That, or they are just not posting in the "In won, I Won" thread.. Hope this isn't a sign of mass bot entering of the various competitions.

    Good Morning :)
Well done on the win indie and good that folk are starting to get out and about but care still has to be taken about meeting others.
There is such a short space of time between dad having to wear a hat to keep his head warm and then having to wear a hat to keep the sun off.
We have given away 18 root cuttings so far with 4 more to go today and only 1 person failing to respond after asking for them.
Misty start again today but the forecast is clear and sunny again but not as warm for this the Spring Equinox weekend.
    Take care.
