Morning, welcome back mp3duck, good luck with the comping.
Thanks for finding the poster for me ff. I did a search but only found a special from 2-3 years ago.
Nice to hear your weather has been nice sheils and leanfun and you have been able to get out for a walk. It did warm up here in the afternoon and I managed to get all my washing dry.
Shame the person didn't turn up for the root cuttings yesterday Duncan, hope they all turn up today. It was misty here earlier but has cleared now. I am hoping to get out in the garden later and do some weeding.
Have a good weekend

Morning all,
Sun shining away again. Trying to decide what to do, not as keen on doing things at the weekend as I feel other people don’t have the chance to do stuff during the week so tend to stay at home more. Cases here are down to one or two a day and we live in a huge region . Surprising how busy it can get when people have nothing else to do but walk though. We don’t have any special dedicated bike routes either so bikes can be more of a nuisance at weekends.Probably tackle the third flower bed this afternoon. The other two are now done. DH isn’t good at bending so I get left to do them myself. He has been tackling other gardening jobs though.
Forgot to say , the other day on our countryside walk we saw some deer 🦌 grazing and Red Kites flying above us. We sat and watched them for a while. Red Kites are so amazing to watch. There was one flying above our house the other week.
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend.

Good Morning Spring
Having said that there is a cold breeze taking the edge off things this morning, it's still dry though.
Dad made his porridge biscuits again this weekend, one lot with baking marge and the other using butter (as the recipe calls for) and I got the crumbs from the tray after he had sliced them and I know which version I think tastes better
No real plans for the whole week, we will do a bit of shopping today but it's a struggle after that.
Take Care

Morning, it was a chilly start here but the sun is out now so hoping it warms up.
lol, Duncan, I imagine you giving the different crumbs points out of 10.
It must be lovely to see deer sheils, I only saw them once very early in the morning when I worked nights and the home was in the countryside. A very posh home it was as well, they rang a gong for meals and the residents got dressed up for it. The owner said one of my jobs in the night was cleaning the silver (they had loads of it on top of the fireplaces) I did say "no sorry I have brass ornaments at home and I don't clean them, "lol. He didn't say anything.
I have put some washing out and have to pop to the bank later to pay a few bills, but nothing else planned as yet.
I hope you all have a good day

Morning morning. It was a beautiful day here yesterday the sun was really hot. We made it out in the garden to start to tidying up. I felt warn out even though we weren’t out that long. Need to build up some strength.
Duncan oat cake crumbs sound great. We have had a delivery this morning and I’ve bought some individual flan cases so going to have a go at making some quiches. Have not made pastry for years so we will see how it goes.
Indie that home you worked at sounds right posh. I would not know about cleaning silver either.Sheils lovely to see deer. Our DS took a photo of a pheasant in the garden where he is staying. He said it was around all last week.

View from bedroom. Actually looks mush brighter than photo. Springs here.

Afternoon, that's a lovely spring picture, it made me smile. Hope your quiches turn out ok leanfun. The pheasant must have been happy where it was to stay around. It was a very posh home I worked in, it was full of Lords and ladies so goodness knows how much they were paying. Too posh for me,lol
We have roadworks going on outside, they are changing water pipes so the water is on some days and off others. The machinery is so noisy but the work has to be done. This is the 2nd week so hopefully, they will be finished soon. Can you believe it's a year today that we went into the first lockdown, let's hope this is the last one.
Have a good afternoon

Good Morning
Cold west wind blowing but dry and sunny for our first walk at 6:30, forecast says rain later.
Lovely picture leanfun.
Dad is getting a call from the GP this morning so I will stay well out of the way, I don't like it when he talks on the phone, then he will have the cheek to go to the shops without me, some excuse about needing to get too much to carry in his rucksack and going to shops with no place to leave me outside safely. I just hope he gets back quick enough to let me out to bark at the bin lorry.
