I have a serious complaint about the BOS - They do not have any way that a non-speaking customer can contact them  !
They have NO live chat - on non business accounts
They have NO customer support email
They only have a  phone number
They do claim to have a TXT number - but I have txt them several times over the last week - no response

Make a complaint (which you can do non verbally). You can use online form or if you select other ways to complain there is an e-mail address. I am sure they will be able to sort something out.

You could always write to them? Explain your situation/problem. Or go to nearest branch and write down what you want?

Whats the point of writing to them - if you are not able to discuss any queries about internet banking by post  ?

    What - Glasgow ?
I live around 500 miles away from the nearest branch of BOS !
I chose BOS because they used to offer 5% interest on current accounts - no longer
I am trying to close the account down and put the proceeds in another bank !

Ah a little bit info at a time? Then simply switch to an other bank or open a new account with an other bank and transfer your money.

If you have a lloyds branch near you go in and ask them to call on your behalf. Have done this in the past.

I already have another bank account - Nationwide - but cannot even log on to my BOS account - that is the problem - I have been locked out !
Besides - You cannot "MOVE" money from one bank to another - without having access to the first one !
I was using BOS current account as a easy access savings account
BOS appear to be totally ignorant of equal opps rules/laws - how do they get away without providing access to disabled people ?
Nationwide have on-line chat facilities as well as email - BOS has neither
