OTB are a third party provider though. They don't have direct contracts with the hotels.
Oh yes true, I have no clue the but I have it written now twice that the law isn’t going to affect the AI

OTB do have some direct contracts now but the majority of their rooms will be through a third party supplier, some of the third party suppliers actually have much more clout than TUI or Jet2 to be fair as they will buy more rooms.
    Lea
  • As someone who goes to Ibiza at least once a year, it was my understanding that it only affected San Antonio and was to clamp down on bar crawls, party boats etc rather than AI hotels. Interestingly, San Antonio has far fewer AI hotels than other parts of the island that cater more for the family market.

It also applies to Mallorca. Magaluf and another part of Mallorca I think

Anyone who needs more than 6 drinks a day, holiday or otherwise, probably should be using their time to take a long hard look at themselves instead of whining about this.
:D:D:D  Your very hilarious and extremely judgemental. :D:D:D
    Thank you all who post.

I’m glad I went to Maga before such Puritanism 🤦🏻‍♂️
6 drinks! On a cruise forum I’m a member of people are complaining about a 15 drink limit on a cruise line!

I'm not a big drinker in fact I rarely have more than one or two drinks a month at home. When on an AI I might have a cocktail a day or so. That's it. I just came back from a nice AI holiday in the Caribbean and enjoyed it a lot - I had a lot of non alcoholic cocktails as well as some nice full juice ones! But even I think 6 drinks a day for an AI holiday is incredibly limiting. As said, the drinks they serve are typically smaller and the people who often go on these holidays do so for a bit of indulgement. A few glasses of wine with dinner and then a cocktail afterwards and you're only left with 2 more drinks. I mean the Americans in our AI were 6 down before midday....
