If Eon themselves are waiting for an update, can we find out who they’re waiting for an update from then chase directly ourselves eg Via a twitter account ?1

The meter is Landis & Gyr and the head-unit ToshibaDave360180 said:If Eon themselves are waiting for an update, can we find out who they’re waiting for an update from then chase directly ourselves eg Via a twitter account ?0 -
I believe exactly the same thing. Make no mistake, they know exactly and but covering up!Woodbridge_Pete said:
I have eventually managed to get through to EoN and they claim it is an industry wide issue, with one saying it will be a software fix. I somehow think i's a bit more than that and will require hardware, as it seems there is a failure in the comms between the electric meter and the head unit that provides info to the supplier and the IHDKromauk said:Lo and behold, not only is my IHD not working, it turns out that my smart meter has gone dumb and isn't sending readings to Eon. Great! 😭0 -
Woodbridge Pete my meter is also Landis & Gyr but the display unit is Chameleon Technology UK Ltd. not sure who we chase ?0

Yes, Chameleon make the IHD, but the comms box on top of the Landis & Gyr meter is Toshiba0

Mine's a Landis & Gyr/Toshiba combo as well.
I see that some posts on the subject are starting to appear on Twitter as the problem becomes more widespread (or as people are starting to notice that they have a problem).
I expect that quite a few people don't use the In Home Display. They won't know that there's a problem until they receive an estimated bill.0 -
Same looping issue here !0

I've been switching on my IHD daily with the misplaced hope that it'll spring to life again. Imagine my surprise half an hour ago... it's working - all connected!
I wonder if my readings are uploading to Eon? They only show on the website monthly (and I have almost a month left until they're visible again).
Edit: Well, my smart meter seems to be working fine now. As well as the IHD coming back to life, the meter has now uploaded new readings which are visible on the website. I hope you all have the same luck.0 -
Anyone else’s working now or just Kromauk’s? I tried tweeting Landis Gyr and got no reply.0

Still not working. 9 months now0
