Eon smart meters IHD constantly restarting with lost connection?

Yesterday I noticed my IHD has now started working again but for gas only. Currently it's not recognising that there's any electricity option at all and won't let me display that. Maybe a further system update will be pushed out at some point which may resolve this?0

I'm really pleased to see it back up and runningThank you for letting me know.
You're absolutely right, software updates are sent regularly. Below shows how messages and updates reach the device.Smart meters need the hub to communicate. The electricity meter stores, sends and receives information. The gas meter sends readings to the electricity meter and the electricity meter sends information to the In Home Display and back to us. The communications hub allows this to happen across the smart meter home area network (HAN) and connects these devices to the Data Communications Company (DCC) using the wide area network (WAN).
Thank you.

the problem for me and others is that gas readings get sent OK, but electricity readings don't to eon or the IHD. So there is a comms failure between the electricity meter and the comms box add on to the meter. i.e. the smart meter comms section can transmit a signal OK.
I've given up trying to get anything sensible from the helpline as all I hear is 'it's an industry wide problem' Not heard other companies have the problem.1 -

I've raised this as well, from what I know it's related to the stability problems and I do know we have a working group and senior level managers working with the DCC, it has been recognised and as soon as I get any more information I will certainly update you.
I completely understand how frustrating these IHD issues are and it's out of my hands, We feed all of these things back in to management.
Thank you

Eon have taken my details and I will be contacted by the DCC in a couple of months' time. In the meantime, my IHD has started showing gas readings but no electricity.

Hi guys,
I'm sorry that some of you are having issues and the IHD keep coming on then stopping or only showing one fuel etc. We will be updating our website soon and keep this updated as we have more information from the DCC and our partners.
They are working to get this fixed once and for all.
Thank you

I find it hard to believe that IHD readings are reliant on the DCC, and think it is more of a firmware or hardware issue with the connection between the electricity meter and the transponder1

Hi,
Unfortunately my IHD starts behaving like you guys mentioned before. It's started above a week ago, after nearly a month of installation. It keep restarting every half a minute and 'waiting for the data'. I have been told that it will go pass soon, that's what I hopping for.
Just for the records, that it is still an issue (from February?) Company is still struggling to fix it?
