If IHD has only one signal bar it can indeed suffer from losing signal. Is it possible to move the IHD closer to the electric meter so it is at at least 2 bars? Hopefully this might help.0

Eon appear to have acknowledged the smart meter issue, as I got an email from them today, with a link to a page to be kept informed, though they do say it might take 6 months. Fact of the matter is, they should have designed the meter with a reset button really, then no one would be complaining about these issues! (Or at least they could get customers to fix it themselves... )0

Put simply, when you next have a powercut, after that, your smart meter will start working again! Solved! Lol0 -
Smart meters were fitted beginning August 2020. Both communicate with my SMETS2 Chameleon IHD but leccy readings have never been sent to / show on E.on and I've had to do manual readings every month from day one.
Oddly enough using the n3rgy.com website shows, for the last 90 days, electric readings from 14-01-2021 07:00:00 until 16-01-2021 00:00 at half hourly intervals. Full 90 days of gas though.

my IHD from EON has been doing same restart cycle and waiting data for almost a year now. Reported several times with no real help from EON and total on hold time of around 2 hrs.
said to just wait it out.All the time I can no longer manage my usage in a time where we are all at home.Oh and the important thing about this is that the actual smart meters aren’t getting the signal either so only estimated reads are being sent.I now have to manually provide readings each month which somewhat defeats the object of having a smart meter.For gods sake will someone from the industry please inform us of the progress of this.Is there a fix we can do ourselves.0 -
I got so fed up of EON not responding to this, not calling back etc, that I went to the Ombudsman.
