Hi guys
Wow, go away for a few months and it's all changed. 👍 I hope you're all well - looking forward to catching up.
Baby girl has started getting into a wee bit more of a routine and sleeping after lunch... 🤞 Alas, I can post on here/get organised/put off housework once more...
I'm still on mat leave and now on zero pay...Just living off savings is a whole new world for me...but so glad I could actually save for it!!
We've got a few big expenses coming up this year when I go back to work so need to keep my eye on the ball...
Listed some things for sale yesterday so hopefully they'll go...
Batch cooking
Usual shenanigans I guess...
Anyway, looking forward to catching up - I'm off to YNAB 😎💸

Hello everyone
I think I feel as though the weather is worse here today than it was at the weekend when the storm was here. It's very windy, and we've had a bit of snow on and off. Nothing lying thankfully and I'm still hopeful that I'll get home without and hassle (except the three sets of roadworks I currently have to drive through).
Operation cut-back-and-make-more-money is well underway, apart from having to spend £8.40 on medicine this morning because ds has wormsI have not that much money in my purse any more but I'm determined to keep a hang on my pennies.
So apart from the medicine - meals are planned, evening is planned and I have become marginally obsessed with my budget. I've boxed up a load of my ex husband's cds and dvds and sold them to Music Magpie so I need to get that on the way. Also retrying with YNAB because it worked brilliantly for me in the past. I think it might be worth the £80 to get me on the straight and narrow with a new budget.Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Hello all!
I'm shuffling back in with my tail between my legs!! Lost my MSE mojo at the moment which is very frustrating as I do want my debts gone and faffing around doesn't help!
So it may be a short list but today I have/will:
* Put load of washing on 30 degree eco wash
* Park for free and walk to work
* Make CC payment
* Update spreadsheet
* Go to the gym at lunch
* Speak to boss re meeting tomorrow morning as don't want to pay to park
* Hang washing on airer
* Make meal plan
* Make shopping list
* Shop to list
* Dinner from stores
Not much but at least I'm here! Hope you're all well.Debt as at 5 June 2023 - £15,600.89
Current debt - £5,435.00
Total paid off - £10,165.89 (65% paid off)5 -

Afternoon allNicw to 'see' you back La ELooked after GD again this morning, she was brighter today so hopefully the dreaded chicken pox is on the way out. Just waiting for her little brother to get it next 😨Apart from that:Brown banana for breakfastPrepped this week's RM survey itemsTidied up a bit after kidsDid a shop at Mr S. Needed fresh salads and veg and they aren't so good at our Lidls, but wow, it is so much more expensive! Really didn't get much for my money at allAlso bought this month's contributions to the food bank collection, and nabbed a couple of wine boxes for free ebay packagingAnd collected some freecycle forget me not plants while I was outTraffic was a nightmare due to yet of more road works that seem to constantly blight our town
, definitely going to shop little and often - and walk - as far as possible for the next few weeks
Used up leftovers for lunchStill need to pack an ebay parcel Now doneStill haven't hoovered the stairs 🙄And do something for dinner - still feeling unmotivated on the cooking front. Maybe jacket potato with tuna mayo and salad, sounds good - and easy! Done, easy and healthyHad a collection of small fruit juice cartons that the GCs have started over the last couple of days, but not finished. Had a brainwave and mixed them together and put in lolly moulds in the freezer (they had been kept cold in the fridge, not left lying about). They can have ice lollies next time they come roundNow MUST hoover those stairs!

Well good afternoon. Did an other mini top up/small weekly shop part 2 so no NSD. Made it home from cover work without giving in to coffee temptation. Was sooo tempted. Am drop dead tired after 8 hours in class rooms w students supposed to be dead silent. I don't like that.
Will make Crepes w bacon, spinach and carrots in a mo - mainly to cheer up the young one who cooked for me yesterday. Not sure about swimming later.
Keep trying to sled last years revision guides, it's not easy - and they are immaculate!Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%
