I think threads will get un necessarily long with people posting thanks along with quotes
It seems a bit childish when all the other forums have them (or the ones I've looked at) and DT doesn't
Oh and bring back the smileys , they are emoticons , to express emotions in pictures .

Some forums have a thanks button. I am struggling with the quotes, and can not find any posts I have made?

Thanks for that post!
Maybe if we bombard the threads with "thanks" posts, the button wil reappear?

I agree, the lack of a thanks button makes me feel I'm ignoring peopleI read on a thread that it was because it was suggested by someone to do away with it on the feedback. Well, there are lots of "someones" asking for it back!

If they want to avoid the controversy in Discussion Time over the use of "Thanks", remove identification. It is the latter aspect that causes issues, with people getting targeted for thanking a particular post.

I've said it before, if you (general) cannot take it, then stay off boards like DT.
