Closest I get to 'dirty books' is smearing cook books with chocolate...My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Perhaps he should have the drugs then? 😁 Mine is self medicating with Vienetta. I’m not that keen so he stock piles it for himself 😁Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Turkish delight is lovely (cold from the fridge so I can peel the chocolate off). Vienetta has a weird artificial taste to it, kind of plasticky 😖. I’d much rather have some L*dl bourbon vanilla ice cream with smashed up wispa on top!Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Kitkat are best dunked in a scalding hot tea and sucking the chocolate off. Turkish delight is the devils work. MrM also loves a vienetta but I'm not keen on ice cream of any kind.
We still have our summer duvet on the bed because I'm so bloody hot! Poor MrM has to have a blanket with him. Sleep (lack of) and bloody middle of the night heartburn aren't good either.Credit Cards NOV 2019 £33,220.42 Sept 2023 £19,951.00 Tilly Tidy 20223/COLOR] Sept £43.71 Here's my diary: A Ditherer's Diary Again0 -
My heartburn was fixed when I had my hiatus hernia opp a few years ago. We went to single quilts so I can throw off if needbe or take downstairs in summer when it's wayyy to hot to sleep in bed with another body. I do a bit of a hokey pokey with covers like my jumpers at work lol. Come to think I think the menopace may have helped the flushes slightly but I'm refusing to tempt fate by speaking too soonDedicated Debt Free Wanabee 🤓

@Naomim I would never dip a kitkat! Odd, as I dip most biscuits, but kitkats are more like chocolate bars and need to be peeled.
I normally run cold so am happy throwing off the big quilt when necessary and then grabbing it back again as soon as I can😬Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
