Where has my Avatar gone? It's been my pic for ages, and - it isn't on any of my computers at home to reload!
If you didn't save it, then you've lost it. This was warned in the email MSE sent out "Exciting (and Important) Information ...."

    2. Profile pictures
Due to the size of all the files, your profile picture will not be carried across to the new Forum. If you want to keep your current picture, please save it locally on your device and you can upload it again in the new Forum. Again, you'll need to do this before 3 February 2020.

I am pretty rubbish with computers but everytime i open a topic all the posts overlap one another, is everyone else getting this? If not can someone help me. It's driving me mad. Also when i go into a topic the signatures overlap on the post that's written.

I was using IE11 (my favourite browser) and had to access this site via Firefox (which I just tolerate) because I had the same problems. I don't know how other browsers are working with the site. Hope that helps a little.
Thank you i will give that a go

I would like to thank you for this useful post😎
  • I’ve been trying since Friday to get the reset email. Eventually it arrived at 18.33 this evening, I’ve just clicked on the link to get an error message about the link being timed out! No warning in the email about a time limit.

Yes, this is a new account, would rather have my old one.

Shortest ever moan! Second email arrived very promptly and I’m back.  :)
  • Don't like it
  • Some positives:
    - forced me to bite the bullet and move from IE (messages not displaying properly) to Edge and move all my bookmarks
    - eventually got my reset password after several attempts (suspect problem with btinternet mail) so can revert to old username
    - like the favourited categories showing each time I access forum
    - finally quite like the new layout
