I've just noticed that my favourite US channel HGTV, has recently launched in the uk I love American property programmes and now I'll be able to OD.
Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

It’s interesting that earlier in the outbreak, one news source said it was thought to be have come about via the wild animal trade.
if that’s true of this outbreak, and of the SARS one, maybe China should really think about changing the cultural dependence on and preponderance of wild creature ‘medicines’ and suchlike.(I just lurve spiders!)

seriously, though, many species are on the endangered list because of it.
when you think that most of these medicines are just placebo, it’s very sad.(I just lurve spiders!)

https://www.straitstimes.com/asia/east-asia/coronavirus-new-study-finds-incubation-period-of-up-to-24-daysIf the incubation period really is three weeks as that report suggests. And if half of patients have no fever when first seen by doctors, so are hard to identify. And if patients are infecting others for much of the three weeks incubation period. And if the virus can survive outside the human body for several days, as Pastures reported.... I am no expert on contagious diseases, but those conditions look really, really bad to me.For comparison, the incubation period for SARS was five days. So, Coronavirus could be much harder to contain? Also, the mortality rate is reported as 5%. However, that is with intensive and expert treatment. If much of the population becomes infected, treatment is going to be pretty basic.I am thinking about what preparations we can reasonably make. Particularly, low cost options, like laying in stocks of items we use anyway and which have a long shelf life.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?6

Haven’t seen a post from her in a long time.

The way it's stacked it looks like: everybody will get it, some will die... lessons will be learned.
I don't think one can avoid it if it turns out to be as widespread as your post indicates. With those odds everybody will get it, some won't know, some will know and will live, some will die.
My small attempts to avoid it seem daft... but it's early days and the thing is: nobody knows really .... what it is, how it moves, how long it lasts, how many are carriers.5
