Looking at help online - if you are using Safari on your Ipad
Go to the settings on your Ipad
    Tap on Safari
Scroll to the bottom and choose Advanced
    Tap on website data
Tap on edit at the top right corner
Find the website from the list you want to change over to mobile view, tap on the red button to the left of it and delete
    Tap done
Go back on Safari, go to this website and hopefully it should be the mobile version.

No idea if it works though but the advice seems pretty consistent wherever I have looked, maybe do more research to make sure you are comfortable as I freely admit to being a complete novice when it comes to Apple devices.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
  • Thought I'd log back in to check if it got any better.

    Nope.

I’m going to try that now.....never been into that part of settings before!
if I disappear, it hasn’t worked! Eeeek!

edit......just did that, but it’s all still exactly the same. Weird.

Thanks for your very clear instructions, though, Sue!  :)

Some threads I can quote and thank and others not and I don't know why.
If we leave and come back later, will it be less user-hostile?

They’ve taken the Thanks feature away from The Arms, but I am hoping they will reinstate it, as it was one huge reason why I preferred the MSE forum to other chat forums.
a lot of people are asking for it back.

my keyboard has gone so slow and sticky.......only on this Forum.......I might have to leave errors in as it is tortuous, ditto the lower case letter at the start of sentences following a new paragraph.

Whether the powers that be will restore it, I don't know.
Some users were using it to be antagonistic, using the thanks counts of a post contrary to their own opinion to slate other posters or claim bias on the forums against their own opinion - at one time one pl*nker was actually listing all the users who'd thanked a post with which they disagreed and claiming that it was bullying.

Oh begger, sorry it didn't work, it was worth a try.
Have you tried clearing cookies/cache, closing MSE completely and starting afresh on a new 'page'? Erm, trying to think of all the old tricks here.

    Yep, tried all that.
interestingly, on one iPad, this one, at the bottom of the main menu for the main MSE site,
    it says......... Mobile DESKTOP
but on my other iPad it doesn’t have those words. That latter one is the iPad I can’t get any forum on at all!
Nothing happens if I press on the word mobile though.
