How do I switch off the notifications that are currently spamming my inbox? I've not subscribed to a thread in 16 years, but now I'm getting stuff on threads I posted to once, two years ago.  Hate it.
Click on your name which takes you to your profile. Click on edit profile and then on notifications, and then untick the boxes.
You might have to scroll past the giant badges to find notifications!
i had enormous problems getting onto here this morning,
nice to see the thanks button on here, as there aren’t any in The Arms, but am really missing some of the emojis, especially the eeek!  :'(

Viva Someone said you need to go into Notifications, right up the top on the right, and you can opt to not receive any. HTH.  I think I's better do that myself actually.

Why is it repeating how many posts we've done and calling some people Forumites?
I think this was the way the forum looked to people who weren't logged in.
    What's improved? Anything?

I can't work out how to clear my PM box which has all my old PMs in it! Even though most of them had been deleted long ago!  Will have a look at Site Feedback and see if that has any useful info.

The only way I've found is to open each one you want to get rid of and click the Leave Conversation" button.
That seems to get rid of them, although when I did the first one it then displayed all my PMs in ascending order (oldest at the top) with no apparent way of changing the display order. Initially they had been listed with newest at the top.

Weird, as my PM box hasn’t any in it!
    Strange things are happening though!

i expect a lot of things will get sorted. I’m having lots of forum pages crashing all over the place.
and this wretched new paragraph lower case letter if really annoying me.

however, I saved my favourite emojis and I’ve just found how to post them on here!
    Except this rotfl won’t r!

Oh thank Chris, I'll try that  :)
I used to use the green interface, but I do prefer this to the blue one they originally changed to.

Well, I've done the deleting and although it took a while I was able to give a good ol' reminisce, as it wasn't all the pms after all, but most of them were to/from people who no longer post, including lovely Moneysaving_diva who is sadly no longer with us.
