We are still in Israel. People here are getting the message that Corona is abroad, and anyone from abroad is treated with suspicion. The reality is that we might be carrying the disease, but only if we have picked it up over here. That doesn’t stop xenophobia, which is being whipped up by the present government. The quarantine precautions that they are taking will certainly slow down the spread of the virus, but whether they will prevent it is not clear. 

 With 80%+ of infectious people being symptom free, isolation is going to be hard to achieve.

The health ministry wants tourists like us to leave as soon as possible, but this is not a view shared by the people running the hotels. In any case, we have a flight booked for Tuesday, and nobody from Easyjet has been in touch to say it’s cancelled.

I have Coronas Lite...   Little cough, sniffy, little short of breath .... hopefully the sniffy bit means it's "just a cold" and hopefully the little short of breath means "you're just worrying yourself too much"  

I feel a bit hot, but have no thermometer so can't tell if I am or not.

EDIT: Feeling loads better now. No temperature, cough's gone (might be overnight accumulation/smokers' cough) ... and sniffle's subsided. 

I tell you - the biggest fear is ... the worry hours.  Those hours when you think "Er.... aaah..... have I?"

Well, just stay in and monitor it for a week.

Have you got a thermometer?

If not, and you feel hot, crack an egg onto your forehead - if it sizzles a bit, you have a temperature.

Our dentist, who had a bout of Coronavirus, has been given the all clear by the NHS. He’s opening up his surgery again on Monday. As all his appointments were cancelled, he’s not exactly going to be busy on Monday morning.

On the other hand, he is now the safest dentist in the area, so will soon be inundated!

I was in two minds last month whether to go for my routine dental checks, and am jolly glad I did, because I certainly wouldn’t go now.

I've got an appointment for a dental check-up next Monday....waiting to see if it gets cancelled!
