On the 3D walkthrough on the Persimmon site it looks like the washing machine goes in one of the cupboards under the sink.GaleSF63 said:A @Rigolith nightmare?
How much smaller can they get? Both bedrooms so narrow and the WC is straight off the kitchen.
Surely there will be a washing machine somewhere but I can’t see it?2 bedroom terraced house for sale in 35 Templeton Way, Helensburgh, G84 8FA, G84 (rightmove.co.uk)
Daily sunshine? Really? This is the west of Scotland! OK so today is sunny...
With 30 seconds more design time they could have made the end of the downstairs toilet in to a small laundry cupboard as it is big enough.
The 3D walkthrough shows that the second bedroom absolutely isn't big enough for a double bed even though they've squeezed one in and they haven't put a TV in the lounge as there is barely space.

The sad thing is if you search Persimmon The Portree on Google they are building these all over Scotland so multiple councils think they are an acceptable size.1 -
Ooh that is much more attractive, I really like that! What's going on in pic 18? Seems they've blocked a beautiful archway...?user1977 said:

Possibly the living room onto the sun lounge was originally a bedroom, then the new third bedroom looks like it was made from one end of the formal drawing room, which either had a door into the master bedroom or a big alcove for a stonking great bit of furniture? The fireplace in the small bedroom also looks a bit awkward.YoungBlueEyes said:

I'd be OK with it. Baths generate a lot less steam than showers so providing the room was large and airy enough I doubt it would be a problem. Certainly if it was the only way to accomodate a bath I would definately consider it and in this instance I would rather do away with the bath and curtain combo and have a nice roomy walk in shower there instead.SadieO said:Bath in the bedroom anyone?

I'm a shower not a bath person anyway, but even if I liked baths I wouldn't want all that steam and damp in the bedroom
But the bath is situated in a bay facing the road - Would you really be a big enough exhibitionist to stand there having a shower ???

And now I’ve read it it seems that Bedroom 1 and 3 were the Billiard Room so the arch must have been actually within that room? But I’m on my phone and can’t see the labels very wellFashion on the Ration

It's lovely but the running and maintainance costs could be a considerable burden for an entry level buyer who will have maxed out on borrowing. If developers don't employ designers, which seems unlikely to me, they will have considerable experience of what sells and build houses that people want to buy and clearly smaller modern houses, although they might not be to all our tastes, fit the bill for enough of the market for them to consider it worth their while to provide them. If they didn't sell they wouldn't.user1977 said:
