Looking at other houses in Ramsgate and found this house. https://www.zoopla.co.uk/for-sale/details/64155553/?search_identifier=cbf9417510f4bb47ee27f873dab1423aea4c3dc1a0bc4c1c245599766ab32b0f Not sure I like the patterns or the bathrooms.

I like it.  Most of the carpets would have to go especially the bathrooms, and the kitchen floor, but the rest is nice.  Looks a well loved home.

Also bizarre showers, without shelves and with shower curtain, seems that many "shiny things"eg fish tank under breakfast bar,  have been installed but lack some basic good sense items.

Why would you put glass panels with sharp corners on the bannister? 

Someone might consider it value for money

The residents slide the telly up to the ceiling and then ask that knotting specialist bloke round to tie it in place.  Can't remember his name, you might - the rope chappie, the string fellow...

Anyone read The Tin Drum by Gunther Grass?  Specifically the bit about Klepp, the musician who refuses to get out of bed and does everything from cooking to washing lying down?  Well, his flat is up for rent:

You'd never have to get up if you were a bit savvy!  Broom handles could be attached to your pots, pans and utensils to allow the worktops to be reached.  Extendable grabs could open the fridge and freezer or pick clothes from the wardrobe.

My touring caravan is smaller, and better laid out that that.  With conventional furniture there is no room for anything but a single bed in that hovel.

Goodness, that really is wee isn't it! I suppose at least it's in Southend so plenty of opportunities for sea air but nevertheless....
