I think it's definitely one where if I were a friend of the family I might be suggesting they consider a bit of redecoration before they market it, although as a buy it might work in your favour if it puts people off!

I expected to see it had been adapted for a wheelchair user then saw the studio and wondered if it was the only way they could get some massive bit of kit in (straight run from the front door through the French doors out of the lounge)

If it is set into the cliffs, I wonder what the door in the utility room at the back of the ground floor opens to?

Terrible layout. If you need the bathroom in the middle of the night you have to come downstairs, through the lounge, through the kitchen and through the back hall! 

Not an uncommon layout - some people move the bathroom upstairs but you have to offset that by losing a bedroom or doing a loft conversion to keep the 3 bedrooms so it depends what's in budget or what people think is most important. I personally wouldn't favour a downstairs bathroom but I'd consider a downstairs bathroom / 3 bedrooms over an upstairs bathroom / 2 bedrooms. 

Mine's like that. My roommate used to keep a 5 litre water bottle and a large funnel in his bedroom.
