People are odd about graveyards.

Our previous house backed onto a marvellous Victorian cemetery full of wildlife (including muntjac deer) and I imagined it would be a real selling point (we loved it) but our EA didn't mention it in the sales bumf on the basis it would put some people off viewing.

I would love that. I love walking round graveyards, they are fascinating places I think; and with the bonus of wildlife, id’ve bought your house like a shot.

Graveyards are full of very quiet neighbours which is a plus point in my books. Just one night a year towards the end of October when you might be disturbed.
