It was likely to have been built when Henry VIII created the church of England and was most likely used by Catholics and Protestants as an escape route when persons of authority visited, so as to avoid persecution. It is believed this could be the last remaining access to the tunnel, with others having been sealed off.0 -
And the Catholics/Protestants absolutely wouldn’t tell on each other if there had been a national policy U-turn on religion which made it desirable for the other party to flee.Patr100 said:The Tunnel goes from Hill View Cottage and joins up with several historic properties in the village, with a small central meeting room. No idea. Perhaps you'd better report it to one of the mods. The estate agent could end up in a right jam otherwise.[Deleted User] said:

It's semi detached. Bedroom 2 appears to have a cupboard extending above next doors front door, and the third floor loft of this property appears to also extend above next door (the roof window of bedroom 4 is again above next doors front door.)0 -
I do love a nice luxurious bath but the one in the bathroom looks rather small - it looks as though it would be quite awkward to use either as a bath or a shower, and I don't think it's all down to the camera angles! I'd rather have a bigger bath in the bathroom (it looks as though there is space) with a shower over it, and have more space in the bedroom for a dressing table or bookshelves.Dandie89 said:
I'd be OK with it. Baths generate a lot less steam than showers so providing the room was large and airy enough I doubt it would be a problem. Certainly if it was the only way to accommodate a bath I would definitely consider it and in this instance I would rather do away with the bath and curtain combo and have a nice roomy walk in shower there instead.SadieO said:Bath in the bedroom anyone?

I'm a shower not a bath person anyway, but even if I liked baths I wouldn't want all that steam and damp in the bedroom

YouTube don't have as blanket licence, they usually notice you are using a popular song automatically and don't even let you upload the video.
It's rare that the music label hasn't blocked or monetised a well known song.0 -

Someone should call the Met Office about the cloud symmetry. It’s almost like they mirrored an imported overlay to fool the viewer.Dandie89 said:Time warp with lavish use of "chicken" tiles even on the side of the bath. Lovely area though
