In fact she was quite scathing of the work they were doing and wasn’t optimistic they would double their money, but I guess if you wait long enough house prices do eventually catch up.
Now on the market for 2.3m, already reduced from 2.5m after only 2 weeks on the market.
Particular attention to picture 4, the small back garden containing a swimming pool that looks to be the width of the slide. Could be a re purposed duck pond.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=svwKDTGdYN8

The property is smoke damaged - although there has been no fire.Presumably someone will buy it to drop the house and rebuild so the instruction to the photographer was to focus on the setting and not the interior and then they were allowed to sneak in one arty one. I bet the estate agents are already fed up of recharging their torches to show tyre-kickers round the spooky house up the unmade road.

IF and it is a big IF you could get planning permission for 10 or more houses to extend that existing estate, it would be a good buy.
Usually the first thing anyone with that sort of property would do is employ a planning consultant to try and get PP to develop it. It would be interesting to look at the planning history and see if anyone has tried.1 -

I'm a shower not a bath person anyway, but even if I liked baths I wouldn't want all that steam and damp in the bedroom
I'd want a proper shower in the bathroom though, not one of those shower curtains on a ring which always end up getting stuck to you when wet.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

How much smaller can they get? Both bedrooms so narrow and the WC is straight off the kitchen.

The Tunnel goes from Hill View Cottage and joins up with several historic properties in the village, with a small central meeting room. It was likely to have been built when Henry VIII created the church of England and was most likely used by Catholics and Protestants as an escape route when persons of authority visited, so as to avoid persecution. It is believed this could be the last remaining access to the tunnel, with others having been sealed off.10
