The only issue with the layout is that there is no door for the kitchen, so you get all the noise from cooking and washing up. Having lived in a flat like that I can tell you that it's a real pain.
Scotland is incredibly affordable though.0 -

We have them in our Bathroom and Kitchen.
I don't really have a problem with them, but it feels like it'll be a proper wotsit ache to replace them (decorating etc.)

I would personally rather have a striplight than spotlights in my kitchen, but I'm a big fan of having the kitchen as a kitchen, I think it's different if you have open plan or where the kitchen is a kitchen /finer or used more as living space, where you don't necessary want such harsh, glaring lighting.All posts are my personal opinion, not formal advice Always get proper, professional advice (particularly about anything legal!)0 -

What about bathroom? It's great as far as light is concerned but looks rubbish. The Missus isn't quite so keen and that I guess might put a buyer off.0 -
