I have seen EAs listing properties with coming soon or more photos to follow and not updated in the 8 months of being on the market.moneysavinghero said:

Urgh! One of my pet hates is TVs too high on walls. How can it be comfortable watching TV with crooking neck? I have been to various people's homes (before Covid) with TVs high on the walls and I hated it.a_fierce_bad_rabbit said:Seeing this style everywhere now, it often seems as if 'having' the kitchen island is more important that whether on not one needs a kitchen island....they often look so very lost all there on their own, as if the other units have shunned them. The living space in this image below really depresses me. Some sore necks resulting from trying to watch the tv I imagine. If it were my home, I'd kick the island outside and use the area for roller skating.
And or course the exact same back extension copied all over the UK. Some look lovely but I wonder if such trends will fade and there will eventually be lots of abandoned kitchen islands and wood burners at the back of everyone's garage
Then there's those who don't attempt in hiding the cables.
Strained necks will be an issue for many years to come2 -

Not a fan of islands at all. They really cramp the flexibility of the room. I did have a friend whose husband build her one on locking wheels which seemed a very good solution if you felt you have to have one. Not a fan of perching on bar stools either I'm afraid but I'm not very tall and they are a long way to topple for mea_fierce_bad_rabbit said:Seeing this style everywhere now, it often seems as if 'having' the kitchen island is more important that whether on not one needs a kitchen island....they often look so very lost all there on their own, as if the other units have shunned them.
