Curtains drawn, cats outside, no pictures of the inside. I get the feeling this one ain't gonna be too pretty when the pictures do finally appear.Dandie89 said:1 -

Seeing this style everywhere now, it often seems as if 'having' the kitchen island is more important that whether on not one needs a kitchen island....they often look so very lost all there on their own, as if the other units have shunned them. The living space in this image below really depresses me. Some sore necks resulting from trying to watch the tv I imagine. If it were my home, I'd kick the island outside and use the area for roller skating.
And or course the exact same back extension copied all over the UK. Some look lovely but I wonder if such trends will fade and there will eventually be lots of abandoned kitchen islands and wood burners at the back of everyone's garage

While I wouldn't mind the stairs (open on one side and no hand rail) as I've lived with similar for over 30 years but I'd want reinforced glass for the sheer area.a_fierce_bad_rabbit said:And this bothers me.....
