That is quite a sought after road. The plot with the current house could be £20m. Another £5-10m to build a new house.Poster_586329 said:Anyone fancy a project?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Bishops_AvenueThe site benefits from close proximity to numerous bus stops along Hampstead LaneDoubt the new owners will require much use of the local buses
unless they open the site to the great unwashed in some way..
Bishops Avenue is a major through road, with a 40 MPH speed limit. Why it is regarded as desirable is beyond me.
Compton Avenue is a peaceful private road, a stone's throw from the 650 acres of Hampstead Heath. Don't get me wrong! I wouldn't buy there, even if I could afford it, but I do understand the attraction of the place to some people. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?1 -

The rest of the house isn't too bad either (apart from the fireplace). No grey paint
The building itself lacks any architectural appeal, so not for me I'm afraid.Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

I'm not saying those tiles are 1970s but they certainly remind me of them.Dandie89 said:4 bedroom detached house for sale in Govers Meadow, Colyton, Devon, EX24 (rightmove.co.uk)
