I don't think the follow up, 'Portrait of a Range Rover', is a patch on 'Portrait of a Lady'.Verix said:

There's a Reddit forum just for you...briskbeats said:Urgh! One of my pet hates is TVs too high on walls. How can it be comfortable watching TV with crooking neck? I have been to various people's homes (before Covid) with TVs high on the walls and I hated it.
Also hate TVs too big for their surroundings..https://www.reddit.com/r/borderlands3/comments/nol4bl/my_dog_following_cl4ptr4p_across_the_screen_of_my/ cute dog though
Then what's the purpose of locating a TV where none of the seats faces it? https://i.redd.it/y05dcgyy5q171.jpg0 -
When I was a child our house used to have a green carpet in the bathroom that went up the side of the bath, I remember sitting in the bath feeling like I was outside.Verix said:

I imagine they would have thought that this was quite fine when it was new. We are so used to living in a world of design dominated by grey and white now that we can't imagine how awesome this might have looked at the time! I wonder if such colour pairings will ever gain popularity again. ....Patr100 said:

I'm a white toilet.
Have we met somewhere before....?"
If you can get that reference from your childhood , you're probably as old as me.
Original release only slightly before my time..

I find a lot of these posts rather upsetting. I'm not saying that people are wrong to post them, just that I am upset by them.
I can sympathise with the elderly folk, who just didn't want the disruption of workmen in the house. Plus, they came from a generation that was less spoilt, and they didn't feel the need to 'waste' money in order to keep up to date. As long as it worked, they kept it. Hence, the old pink suite, but the new white toilet. And, the listing above is of a £90k house. Maybe, the inhabitants were on the state pension, and they just didn't have the money for updating?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?13
