I think person paid extra for professional photos, rather than the agent doing them and wished they hadn’t.

I'm surprised that a professional photographer didn't move the coat stand,  bedroom bin, dressing gown etc. When we sold our last house the photographer was ruthless about moving towels, bins and other bits and pieces that were getting in the way of a clean shot.

Can anyone spot anything special about the following house. This is from an estate nearby to me, and in fact I lived in a rented house in this estate. The houses don't look very impressive for me, but they seem to sell for a lot of money. At least, asking prices are high.

I just can't see anything special about these houses, and think that the one I bought is better for a lot less money than this. And, even the bigger ones around my way are typically cheaper than this.

Is there anything special here? I feel a little bit like the boy who called out the Emperor's new clothes.

Note: For £300k around here I would expect something with a bit extra. Not a generic 3 bed semi.

Close to an ‘Outstanding’ primary school? It’s a significant factor for family houses where I live.
It's only close to one primary school, and it's not outstanding, but 'Good'. And, I'm even closer to that primary school. So: I don't know. This is part of what I don't understand.

The utility room is 2mx1.8m, so small in my book. Just wide enough for three appliances side by side. As it is also the main access for the rear door, there isn't much else you can put in the space. In all, a fairly typical new build from a major developer.

Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.

I haven’t looked at the room dimensions to be honest.
I have been asked if I wanted to buy the house, but it’s about 100K over my budget!

I just looked at the plan before I closed the tab and the kitchen diner looks wrong too - it's opposite hand and windows are in the wrong places. I make it that the kitchen diner is on the right if looking at the front of the house - by what you can see through windows etc.  I thought the photos were flipped, but I don't think they are - I can read AEG on the cooker.

The house is just over 3 years old.
I am amazed to hear that.  If I saw this online I would assume they bought it 5 minutes ago and, for some suspicious reason or other, quickly decided they did not like it, barely unpacked, didn't bother buying any new stuff to make it personally theirs and simply want to get straight out.
