    I can see that it isn't for people in other parts of the country, but this is quite common around my way. Quite a few houses are on sale because the previous occupants have aged and are no longer there for one reason or another. And, the time-warp decoration from quite a few decades ago is still there. 

    Not my house, I'll point out. But, I could easily have ended up in a time-warp house like this one. And, I wouldn't have been too worried about it. 
    Agreed - I love the throwback black square tiles in the bathroom & separate toilet - so of it’s time and would have felt daring & up to the minute back then

    Oh wow! That bathroom suite! I remember being dead envious of friends whose parents had aubergine bathroom suites. It seemed so exotic. I'd still find room for a vintage bathroom suite like that. :)

    When I used Google lens on it, one of the first matches was for a lady in a very old profession, offering services that I believe the French refer to as "the English disease" . 

    Hope it's just pedicure and fingernails
