    I'm told he has
    I am furious
I didn't think you could have healthy animals put down, are you sure it's not another tactic? But do NOT go and find out....xx
Sadly you can, but you have to show that you are the owner and have the right to make that decision.
I really hope it's another way of getting at you melly, rather than something he has actually done which would be heartbreaking. Do you know which vets and who is registered as the owner? Maybe give them a ring and ensure they know they are your dogs and not his.

I'm so sorry to hear that last bit of news, Melly.
I sincerely hope it isn't true.
But if it is, it just reinforces that you have without doubt made the right decision.
Anyone who can even consider doing that is beyond contempt.

Going back to the photo - you seem to have lost that haunted, lost look that you had in earlier photos.

    Well if anything had to cement the hole in your relationship Melly - he has certainly done that.   How wicked and cruel was that - but better for them to go to the Rainbow Bridge now than live in misery with him.     Now you most certainly know that he is not your soulmate - and could never have been so.    {{{hugs}}}

So, so wicked - I just can't get over how someone who professed to love them could do such a thing. :-(

I don’t believe it has anything to do with loving them or not. It was all about hurting Mellymoo, as the dogs meant so much to her. It’s a disgusting behaviour but classic sadly.

Elsien no idea which vets and from what I have been told it's too late they have gone.
Yes a punishment wrapped up in how evil I am for leaving them.
Heart is broken, he is still blocked and I haven't checked emails etc though

I was hoping he was still game playing  and threatening to make you come running.
Otherwise there really are no words.

He threatened it and I blocked him
    Evil evil !!!!!!
  • A decent vet in my view would have tried to get the dogs rehomed (not their fault he’s done this but it can be done). You have cats as well yes? What is going to happen to them? If I were you I’d be finding out the vet he took them to and pre warning them that he might try the same with the other animals.
As for comments that it’s better that they were PTS. I can’t agree. How can it be better for healthy animals to be euthanised? There are projects that help re home pets temporarily if their owners and the pets are at risk of violence. A google search will take you to charities that might be able to help you if you have concerns that your other animals are at risk if he has them given what he’s done to the dogs. I personally would also consider calling police.

I would also be checking to see if this is definitely true. He could be lying simply to hurt you.
