Anyway, PPC knows all of my details, because - before I found this forum - I have attempted to appealing to PPC, and later to IAS, and was forced to provide these in order to submit the appeal.0

If they do not accept your SAR with a copy of the original PCN and a scan of your V5C, report them to the ICO. Do NOT supply DL or passport.5

Hi there, just spoken to a colleague of mine which does have an identical situation with ticket flipped over and a PCN, and they've received Claim Form from country court. I would like to know what is that claim form and what does it mean, actually? Sorry for my lack of knowledge but I'm not familiar with legal proceedings in the UK.

Just put "N1 claim form" into Auntie Google and all will be revealed.4

It's a N1 formal claim form sent out by the Northampton CCBC and it means your friend is being sued. He needs to decide whether to pay it or defend it. Simple as.PCNcollector said:Hi there, just spoken to a colleague of mine which does have an identical situation with ticket flipped over and a PCN, and they've received Claim Form from country court. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

For that information you need to be reading the second post of the NEWBIES thread.PCNcollector said:Hi there, just spoken to a colleague of mine which does have an identical situation with ticket flipped over and a PCN, and they've received Claim Form from country court. Please don't try and progress both issues in this one thread - it will only lead to confusion.
Best if you can get your colleague to start their own thread if they want help.5 -
Of couse I will do. Just asking because it seems I should expect the same thrown into my letterbox so I would like to know what to do with it before I get it, as my case is identical - the only difference is that I have provided driver's details when appealing to IAS (unfortunately, I have discovered this forum after I did that, thinking that the copy of ticket should be enough to close the case).KeithP said:Please don't try and progress both issues in this one thread - it will only lead to confusion.

Getting back to my thread (posted in someone's else by mistake) here are my points of potential defence:- ticket has been placed on dashboard at correct side in accordance with T&Cs signage while leaving the car;- ticket does have a unique serial number printed on the back, this side is clearly visible on the photo they've taken, the serial number is readable and it does match the one at front;- ticket is a non-adhesive type, assuming it could easily flutter by an air blow eg. through air vents, or even by ticketer rocking the car;- PCN says "no ticket" although the ticket itself and its serial number is clearly visible on the photo they've taken; What do you think, would it be enough or should I look around for other - stronger - defence points?0

Sounds fine as your added point #3 and you have all the other defence points you need in the template defence you are adding that short bit to.
You do know NOT to just write that ALONE(!!) and not to put it in on MCOL or on the paperwork? If you don't, read the advice from KeithP again.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
