    Afternoon all

As for HM christmas cards - I'm not bothering this year, not one person remarked on them last year so I won't waste my time (sorry - scrooge moment!!)

    .

Oh I can relate to this one! Days I spent making family ( as in parents, sisters etc) HM Christmas cards a couple of years ago - no-one said a word except one sister who said "Was that card home made? hmmm thought so - bit broke this year are we that you can't afford to buy proper ones?":mad::mad: Now I stick to just making them for close family because I always get a smashing response from DD1, DS1, DD2 and DS2....mind you I ran out of time and didn't do any last year....better get my skates on!

    Families huh?

Jennieo, I'll have to give up work soon to give me time to read all the blogs, I'd send you the link to mine, but it's X-rated

The lodger is upstaire throwing an absolute Dickiefit, I've no idea who she's on the phone to, but boy are they getting an earbashing.
She was on a course today & boy did that get complicated.

We got our back pay today, we have also been waiting since April, lets just say I didn't get too excited about it as it's a very small payrise. Certainly not enough to cover the increase in food & fuel prices.
    Have a good evening everyone.

  • Hi Guys!

Hope everyone is well as I havent read the whole thread yet.

WM has been on, DW emptied and toilet cleaned. WM loaded again for the morning and its bed changing day tomorrow.

OH & I have had a lovely day together and have done alot of chatting about future and current situations etc.....I dont like getting too serious often. We have decided that it will be better for me/us if I do defer my course till next Sept. Its only 9 months till the course will re-start and Im sure that will go quickly. I really didnt want to have to make this decision, but my health is not good ATM and I really need to continue getting high pass marks if I want my first class honours. I know currently in my condition I wouldnt achieve this. I will call the OU tomorrow and get things in motion. I have all the coursework here for next year so will spend a couple of hours a week getting myself more familiar with it all, then next year should be fine. There are other books I could read to achieve higher scores, so could get them in now. I feel relieved that we have made a decision:j :j :j

Tonights dinner is a slight change to the meal plan. OH got some stuff reduced yesterday in Tescos so I have a Finest Organic Lamb Stew with herby mash (40p), OH has a Finest Chicken Massalla & Rice (40p) and DD has a Meat Feast Pizza (20p) and some chips (in freezer) and we have an Apple Strudle (sp/in freezer) for pudding! He got a few bargains like that. He got a medium size Pork Joint reduced to 50p, so we are having that tomorrow with the spuds and veg he chopped today.

Have tons of Eggs here as the chickens have been laying between 1-3 a day between them. Will get some shortcrust pastry out for a couple of large quiches as we have bacon, onions and toms in.

Have hospital in the morning and the cleaner is here, so another peaceful day. I will probably need a sleep when we come back anyway, so at least the house will be all fresh and clean.

    Hugs to all.

Well today has not gone well DS has been attacked and has lost his hearing temporarily its back now and we had to collect from school this time though he grabbed one of the kids by the throat and held him against the wall the boys were a gang of 3 but 1 has been excluded permanantly 2 of them were hiding in DS reg room and the teacher saw them DS said where they were and they attacked him he then lost it and pinned one against the wall and the other one hit him just above his ear i cant believe that kids can behave like this in front of a teacher i dont know what it is coming to The school wont be punishing DS as it was self defense and the other 2 are being sent to inclusion hopefuly they will leave him alone now he has hit back he has not done this before as he doesnt have a nasty bone in his body sometimes it would have been easier if he had all this after a meeting with the school yesterday about him coming out of the special unit and back into main stream school i could just cry that he has to put up with this because he is different hopefully a better day tomorrow fingers crossed everyone please

TIRED MUM - that's appalling; it breaks my heart reading what your DS, and you, are going through. Let's hope they do leave him alone now he has defended himself. Each one of them would have been too scared to do that if they'd been on their own. I'm thinking of you both and sending massive (((hugs))) to your DS.
