  • It sounds like they really helped. I'm going with an open mind definitely :)

A friend i met on the 2nd course dropped out with various excuses. Unfortunately despite max input from other services she is now very very obesely overweight, not moving from one room living on takeaways:( and doesnt understand why she cant get medical treatment with some physical medical issues.

I stayed on the 2nd course exactly like u CLF with an open mind as they had introduced new techniques and was curious. The first course was more about the physical but they recognised when they changed it that there needed to be a balance between mental and physical. I made some great friends and def learnt new skills.
Wishing u all the best CLF although by the sound of it u are off to a good 2020 with the fruit trees:) and allotment:)

Thanks all, Unfortunately the surgeon yesterday said that its likely to be a similar waiting time :( I'm still feeling very annoyed about our usual dentist and we've decided to change dentists. My parents pay for dental through Denplan and they recommend that. There is a dentists nearer me then our current one which I am going to get in touch with on Monday. So fingers crossed!

Not much in the way of small things today.
    Brunch at my folks
Fridge use up for tea night
An evening watching films from stash with dh & the dss from our stash.

  • Morning all :hello:

Managed to sort out 1 room entirely yesterday, which was really pleasing and was able to find 3 more items for the charity shop bag.

    Jobs for today:
    Smalls to prepaid activity
Will go out later and use our annual membership I think. Will take a picnic.
Need to freeze the kidney beans I didn’t do yesterday
Have another room to sort, will try and make a start today.
    Packed lunches for tomorrow
Will do a roast using what we have, have some hm Yorkshire puddings in freezer I made last time
Will rustle a pudding from stores too
Have some relaxing time with the smalls watching a film or playing a game later

Have a good day all. Purps.

Morning Pf, Clf and all who follow.

The house is still very quiet at the moment as I've got ds2 doing homework, dh/ds1 still in bed so there is no noise other the the dishwasher and me tapping on here :)

  • Morning all :coffee:
Had a lovely day out yesterday with a friend. Long catch up over coffee, wander round the shops - nothing frivolous bought. It was really windy but I felt good for having been out and about for the day after a week of being so busy with work.
Means I have to do a bit of school work today though :(
    Also:
    Sort through my planner
    Crochet today's 365 square
    2 loads of washing
    Aim for nsd
Meal plan for the week ahead
Relax - work starts all over again tomorrow.

    Morning all :)
Quick tidy round this morning as we have visitors this afternoon (so we won't have to eat all that cake after all ). Hoping they don't bring their dog with them, as ours doesn't take well to visiting canines except for ones he knows well (such as DDs' and DS's) :o
Apart from that I have / will:
OH cooked breakfast this morning, an occasional treat, which handily used up some rather squishy tomatoes that he got YS (he doesn't really understand the concept of YS, (that it is near date and needs using quickly), and tends to leave it at the back of the fridge till I notice it and pull it out and deal with it. I think he confuses it with special offers as it is cheaper than usual  Luckily he doesn't go shopping very often.
    Cleaned bathroom

Planted out a couple of forced hyacinths that had gone over - according to the books they don't survive for future years, but experience has shown me that it is at least worth giving them the chance :)
Put some stuff away in the garage - decided not to stay outside any longer though as it is cold and damp :(
Dinner will be a piece of YS pork from the freezer
Clean an internal window that I have just noticed is filthy
Check passports and driving licences to see if any need renewing
Check date for dental appointment which I think is this month
There will be more - back later to update!

I know it's a PITA but have you tried restoring back to factory settings? I had a prob with my wifi once and that fixed it
