Morning folks!
Today is the big van day for the allotment. I'm quite excited! We have 4 mini fruit trees in our garden in pots that we want to move to the allotment. I thought a van would be best rather than trying to do it in our car. We have a mini SUV but I thought it would just make a mess and break the trees.
Other things for today:
:heartpuls B/L/D from stores I think. Not sure what's for lunch or tea though as we are out of lots of things. - nope. Have to nip to the little shop for cheese, some bits for dinner, milk etc. Poor planning.
:heartpuls On that note, am having my porridge with water instead of milk as we're out. Shopping day is tomorrow. I can tell we need lots as it's coming to about £45 (usually £25-30) - done
:heartpuls Used up a rather forlorn looking lemon - done
:heartpuls Reconcile budget sheet. I am another one who is grateful that he January pay trap/cc bills are a thing of the past - done. Lots of notes about money to be moved around today!
:heartpuls Pay car tax - again, we now save for this through the year instead of being £70 down (I never had the whole £140)
:heartpuls Do my scrapbook. I realised that I have 11 pages to fill  I must take more photos this week - printed out pics
:heartpuls Do what we can at the allotment but mustn't knacker myself out - done. Hot damn that was really hard work. And I didn't put nearly as much work as OH in. The van was a brilliant shout because we'd have never have done it in the car. But lugging the trees to the van from the garden, then to the allotment, digging the holes, planting them, then lugging 4x120 litre bags on compost. I never want to move again.
Have a good one all

Morning everyone
I've just caught up. As soon as i started reading Ally's post i had to pop off to check quidco-its the one thing i always forgot and the one thing Ally's posts always remind me of!!!!! Small payout to be had, going to leave for now.
Since Monday work has been stupidly busy. Information i needed for a meeting i had to wait until Monday to get and this added pressure. Bulk of the work sorted now, i have a few things to do which i can combine with housework today and just relax a notch.
CLF we've done like urselfs. Left a few not Christmas decs out but what we consider winter decs.i love light so have left a few winter light bits out which we will pack away at spring.
CCL really hope court moved things forward for u in a positive way.
When i picked up a click and collect with DD yesterday, picked up a couple of sale items to pop away for the charity auction we support.
Recycling men were here first thing. Dragged out the last big box of Christmas cardboard which they took. Kitchen has been looking a right state as we havent had chance to pop things away. Hope to tidy abit more today.
Still eating from the freezer. Had another turkey casserole last night. Tasted nicer than when first made. Really enjoyed it. Eating from freezer again tonight. Just need to pop to sm for milk and salad. Dont need anything else.
Banking all checked, everything good
Sorted out DDs car yesterday. Turned out i had the oil in she needed so no expense needed.
Feel very unsettled after Christmas. Dont feel like im fully back into routine.
Still on a catch up with the washing. Been using the eco setting.
Right off to sort the cats out.
Have a great day everyone xDecluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Morning all,
Just had a catch-up with what everyone's been up to. Isn't it nice to be getting back to normal routines? I love Christmas but all the usual routines which keep us on the straight & narrow just seem to go to pot! I posted my goals for the week on Monday & am pleased to say that they are all going well so far. And I appear to have sorted out that damned asbestos at last....although I bored everyone ridgid with that on my dfw diary last night, so won't go into the saga again on here.
I am defo back to tracking food & steps. Doing well on food intake, less well on step count, but that is because so many of the tasks I need to do this week involve sitting at my desk. I am making sure that today, each time I'm waiting for the coffee machine or kettle, to put 'Planet Rock' on & boogie to a couple of tracks to get those steps up. I'm sure I'm too old for air guitar, lol, but anything that increases my calorie burn is a goer this week as I've been very sedentary over Christmas.
Not much spending going on, I'm pleased to say.
Love to all,
