    Hello all,
Clf, glad to hear you are feeling more like yourself and yes I feel much better after a good nights sleep thank you.
Ccl, I hope things move forward with the court for you today.

    Todays list
    * dh working from home as he had an appointment at the drs :) lots of fuel saved
    * kids had cheapo porridge for their breakfasts
*2 gym classes, refilled water bottle/had very hot shower & dried hair at the gym
    * onto the dentists but I parked further away and walked so as not to pay for parking.
    * home for brunch, dh &I had a use it up omelette with some beans which warmed us up nicely.
    * booked the kids into the hairdressers for this afternoon as they look a right state!! Its the same hairdressers that I go to which I think are quite cheap for my hair (cut and blow £18 but I used to pay £27ish at the place I used to go) but I think the boys are £8 each which is seems a bit steep?? BUT ds2 had a few patches of alopecia when he was little before his underactive thyroid was diagnosed and so my dad always cut his hair for me to cover it best we could but then when he was going to be starting secondary school he wanted it cut differently and my hairdresser has been great with him, she told him the style he'd like wouldn't cover the patches and suggested something different which he then loved so I'm happy to pay really.
    * was going to go to aldee but although I have quite a long list, dh said he'd do without the main thing in his packed lunch tomorrow so it means I can stretch it til the following day.
    * kids going to finish the chicken & veg curry later
    * I put a beef stew in the slow cooker this morning so that can do me and dh tonight and the four of us tomorrow night. Love cooking once, eating twice!
    * I've sorted out the garage a bit and it now means I can get to everything again! I've got a big box in there now to take to the cs but I'll plan to do that at the same time as I go to aldeee tomorrow I think.

    Still to do,

    * check banking/update spreadsheets
    * make families lunches for tomorrow
    * raid dh's wallet for cash as the hairdressers don't have a card machine (I only have pound coins, but he'll be fine with that as he only needs cash for parking really)
    * take kids to hairdressers

    Take care all.

    Afternoon all :)
Spendy day today, as I had my hair cut and did the first shop since before Christmas. Neither was that expensive though - didn't need much shopping and I only had a trim.
    Apart from that:
Had home dried fruit for breakfast this morning - originally some HG raspberries and bananas that were past their best

Another ebay item sold, but not paid for yet
Finished off some soup for lunch
OH has cooked a huge YS turkey for DD today (her MiL gave it to her and it wouldn't fit in her freezer), so we will have a few slices of that for dinner before DD takes the rest away. OH has cut it up for her so she will be able to fit the smaller packages of cooked meat into her freezer (OH worked for a butcher who did hog roasts for a while after he retired from his 'proper' job, and is good at cooking and cutting up large quantities of meat).
    Restocked sales unit
Pulled everything out of a large trunk in the spare bedroom. I still need to sort out the contents and put back what needs to go back
Feeling a bit yukky and headachey again, so taking it fairly easy!

    Morning all

Where is everyone? (Apart from you Purps!)

Slightly non-mse thing last night as decided to hire a van for a day tomorrow to take the mini fruit trees from ours to the allotment. Decided that trying to take them in the car was a recipe for both wrecking the car and the trees. Although poss more mse than replacing the trees!

    Normal list today:
:heartpuls B/L/D from stores - done
    :heartpuls Check PMP - done
:heartpuls Small stroll at lunch to get the blood moving - done
:heartpuls Meal plan for next week
:heartpuls Charge phone in work - done
:heartpuls Ask OH to post ebay parcel - done. And he did
:heartpuls Moved some money out of ppal that was owed to our account - done
:heartpuls Measure gap where I want new DVD cupboard. Contrary to most folks, OH and I like having DVDs and are acquiring more, particularly as fil will not be using his any more. Collection has outgrown current shelving. I will be looking for a second hand one on FB though. - not done yet

    Have a good one all

    Morning all :)
Just sat down for a coffee and a catch up :)
    Today I have / will:
Lots of boring little things so far:
Heating off as it is mild this morning
Load of washing in machine, including a bath sponge that has got really soapy that I am hoping to rejuvenate so it can be used again. Not really very moneysaving, as they are only pennies, but trying to avoid unnecessary landfill Washing now on airer, it dried a bit outside, but not much. And the bath sponge lives again (washed at 30 degrees) :T
    Emptied shredder into compost bin
Kitchen clean up, emptied bin and cleaned it
Put away some 'Christmassy' tealight holders and the silver plated tray thing I display them on
Put away stuff I brought back from my sales unit yesterday
Sorted out all the stuff I pulled out of the big chest in the spare room yesterday  Two grotty old mattress protectors binned (don't even know where they came from!). Landfill unfortunately as they are far too grotty to donate :( And an unused net curtain put aside for the CS. Don't remember where that came from either. Possibly bought for my brother's flat, as I am not a net curtain fan! Bagged up spare duver and pillows, all now put back. I have one more chest to tackle, but at least it is a smaller one!
A couple of phone calls that were threatening to grow from tadpoles into frogs done
    Dug a couple of leeks
Noted down yesterday's spends in diary
    Still to do:
Tidy larder after OH put the shopping away yesterday  Had a quick go - probably needs a bit more
Make scrambled eggs for lunch, as we seem to have lots of eggs again (DD brought some round on Monday) Done
Make something for dinner from stuff in the fridge - some kind of turkey stew I think. Made a soup / stew thing with lots of different veg. And there is plenty for lunch tomorrow :)
Check banks as OH is expecting a payment. Update his business records if it has arrived. Still to do
Cut up an old pair of leggings that was going into holes for free dusters /cleaning cloths :)

    Afternoon all,

I don't know where the mornings gone!!

    Todays list
    * cheapo porridge for breakfast
    * 2 gym classes done plus filled water bottle there, had shower/dried hair there.
    * been to aldee/icyland with my shopping lists - only extras I bought were some ys bread and ys yogurts
    * switched microwaves/alarm clocks off at the socket til needed
    * no heating on as its very mild. (I never put it on when just me home anyway)

    To do
    * put all shopping away Done
    * cook 2 chickens at the same time - let my dad know he can take some chicken home with him tomorrow if he wants some Done & done
    * check banking/update spreadsheet Done
    * see if I can find the receipt for something we bought before xmas as gift which then we've not gifted.. if I can find the receipt great, if not will save for next year. Done, will ask dh's opinion and go from there, we have until the 14/1 to return anyway
    * make families lunches for tomorrow Done
    * tonights meal will be the last of the stew with some dumplings Done
    * check current balance on the cc Done, it was more then I'd thought but then remembered its dh's professional fees which he'll get back anyway!

** also sorted our guarantees file and binned instructions for things we don't have anymore
** ordered another library book online - use it or lost it, I agree with Ziggy on that.
** stewed more of the summer picked berries with a couple of bruised apples and a very brown banana, added on the other half of crumble I made the other day and stuck it in the oven with the chickens.
** sold another electrical item to cex, printed the post label on the back of something else, will post tomorrow
** accepted a revised offer from musicmagp1e for old mobile, was £7 now £1.26, I didn't expect to get anything for it as its so old and at least it'll be recycled properly etc
** emptied the dehumidifier into the toilet cistern
** ironed just what was needed and switched off before doing the last item with the residual heat
** added a few more bits to the cs bag, will probably drop these in tomorrow
** took all the meat off the chicken and have put the carcass, some peelings and water into the slow cooker to make a stock

That's my starter, take care all.
