8pm and I am waiting for the littlest monkey to go to sleep so I can get into bed, take my next lot of pain killers, crank up the heat on my electric under blanket and listen to my Hypnosis track for this week.
dS is at work but he and his GF went to Aldi for me this afternoon.
I have had several small jobs in, so I am hoping that tomorrow dgs1 is going to be well enough to go to holiday club, but I am not so sure, as he had to have calpol for his temperature this evening.
dgd had her friend around this after And she's been on her drum kit again.
i have booked a doctors appointment on Friday, the earliest that I could get, but I picked up some stronger ibuprofen from the chemists as paracetamol just wasn't cutting it.
heres to hoping monkey goes to sleep soon. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.6 -
Hope you all got some sleep last night Ss, and that the gs1 has been able to go to holiday club today. It's not difficult!

GS1 did yet another projectiles vomit at 4.30 this morning, so no club ( still got to pay though), he woke dgs2 and after 9 attempts to get dgs2 back to sleep, I gave up and had to bring him into my room as he kept standing on his poorly brother!
at 8am I was so tired etc I woke DS handed them to him, saying Who was sick, who had to be where, and went back to sleep for an hour ish.
he took dgs1 with him to his gfs.
left me to work until 5pm when I stopped and came inside.
at 5.45 I met my friend for a meal and a pint. I was home and in bed by 7.30
i have been reading ever since.
but plan to sleep now.

Win! I have been chasing Child Benefits office because they have not been paying me for dgs1, and I wanted to know why.
I admit that when I last called they said they had until 10th December to let me know. But I didn't hear anything. I decided to wait until the SGO was finalised, and chased again. They have got back to me to say that it was an oversight ( ha!) and that they will be back dating it to me. I see £356.20 is pending in my bank account, so that should be in tomorrow and moving forward I will receive it weekly.
I have woken up with a cough, so I am praying that is all I get. I think tomorrow when I have my doctors appointment I will ask them to check a few things like my weight and that because I don't think my scales are accurate as my size 12 jeans are too big now, and I have purloined a pair of 10s that Dgd had said we're too small for her.
I don't want to waste away.
Thursday, all ready.
I need to get the heating on in my Cabin and go to work.
I have a few small jobs to tackle, and the other dressmaker is bringing back a few jobs she did for me. I might give her a few more to do, until I am feeling better.
I know that it means that I am not really earning anything but it will take the pressure off of me until I sort out my family and my health, and allow customers to still come with work, as long as she does a good job with them of course. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.5 -
Getting things like weight and B/P checked is a good idea S_s, you need to stay as healthy as possible - for your sake as well as the children. It's not difficult!

Remember the warnings when flying about putting your own mask on first. before dealing with children & other vulnerable people. It applies to other aspects of life too. If you don't take care of you who is going to take care of the others. I used to think it sounded selfish when in a home environment, but the last few months have made me see how wrong I was. How can I take care of someone with mental health issues & someone who keeps having mini strokes when my head is starting to scream at me. I know I need to sort myself before I leave one of them swinging in the wind. No-one ever taught me that life could be so difficult & I wish I had never found out, but it is what it is.

No-one ever taught me that life could be so difficult & I wish I had never found out, but it is what it is.I agree with bad memory in fact I've mentioned putting your own mask on first a number of times. I used to think it selfish too. However My own physical health problems wouldn't be so bad now if I'd been more mindful. There are times we have to push on as carers but we need to choose our battles too.Hope the poorlies are improving Ss.I've had very little internet since the first storm so hope this posts. NW Enland are showing a large outage over this region but according to Sky- No problems.I've been trying to find the online instructions to retune my tv but everytime I try the internet goes down. It's not the bt landline, phoneline is fine. I'm beginning to think I'm cursed.Take care all and tell the "Designer" you're concentrating on more suitable work Ss. Not rushed or to a stupid budget. I always thought he was a waste of time and he isn't worth you stressing over.pollyx
It is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.
There but for fortune go you and I.6 -
Take care of you
