Good morning.
I have had a strange night, weird dreams about people I haven't seen for 20 years. Something kept waking me every few hours, apart from our youngest. He woke up twice in the night, and up at 5.30 . I was outside sewing last Evening when DS put him to bed. I had said to try and keep him awake till 8 but he was too tired and he'd put him to bed around 7pm.
We are all coughing etc this morning. I have a sore throat. Not ideal when I have so much to do and Biggest's children this afternoon.
I have not cancelled the Wednesday babysitting as usually they are not difficult and it is only for two hours before the Dad comes home and takes over from me. It also means that I can pop in to check up on my Mum while I am in the town.
DS is going to have to be disturbed now, as I need to go down stairs as these two monkeys are trying to destroy each other. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
I'm sorry that you are not feeling great Ss
It's probably inevitable that the little ones will pass their bugs on to you (some of them, at least) but that doesn't make it any easier!
It's not difficult!

I retired to bed at 12.30 with paracetamol.
Been asleep.
Told DS he can do school pickup. Dgs1 is very quiet in his bed down there.
I have cancelled Biggest's as at 11 my skin was crawling, you know the type where your clothes hurt. So I came home to bed as soon as I had sorted Mum out. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
I know you wont get too many chances to retire to bed Ss but it really is the best plan when you can. Youngest and I have had something that feels very much like flu for over a week but as could just about manage to pick up a £10 note if needed from the floor ( Superdocs is it flu or something else test) it's probably another of those random things dd picks up and then shares.
I've hit the bed a few times in the past week and just being warm and not moving around has helped. My head feels even fuzzier than the usual fibro fog. As a Pratchett fan I looked forward to BBC2 showing Good Omens. I watched the first episode the week before last and found it hilarious. Micheal Sheen plays the good angel and my beloved David Tennant is the demon. I don't like what they've done to his eyes but his hair is something else. DD has seen the complete series and his hair gets even weirder as the series goes on. It's ages since I've seen a quiff like that!
I realised yesterday I forgot to watch episode 2 last week thanks to whatever ails me at the moment. Today I have post it notes all over the place reminding me to watch tonights episode.
Luckily we haven't needed to go out since last Friday and wont be going out until Superdoc on Friday. I'm going stir crazy but not much chioce.
I hope you get a few more chances to rest and recover. With all the stress you've had you've probably been low immunity wise. I think your mind has had a lot to cope with over the last few years and the dreams are part of sorting out and removing all the different worries.
Take care

You'll have to fight me for him beanie! I'm the one the family laugh at becauae every Christmas I watch my complete dvd boxset of all the DT Dr Who episodes plus the christmas specials. I still shed a tear when he changes places with Albert. " I don't want to go" gets me everytime. He's always been "My doctor"
Are you ok? It's been pretty cold in Scotland.

I was talking to a friend in Borders this week and she'd had snow. It's just been cold, dank , very wet and downright miserable here.
Fancy knowing David's uncle. Along with David I like Ian Rankin and Rebus. First time I visited Edinburgh the Rebus trail was a must. Involved a lot of pubs and I don't even drink alcohol.
The search for Greyfriars Bobby took an entire day although eldest dd was living at the gateway to the Trossochs. We were walking round in circles for hours as I said isn't that the statue and the graveyard. Considering she worked all over europe she has no sense of direction and cannot be told.
Have you been watching good omens..like Dr Who I think it's one of the roles DT was born for. He does a good flounce:D

DS did the school runs but absolutely nothing else all day.
Seriously annoying.
I asked him to do sausage and chips etc for tea. Dgd cooked noodles in the end. I was left with out anything as he literally put the children to bed, (no baths etc) and went out. After being on the Xbox all day. He even missed a customer coming to collect £70 worth of stuff. Headphones on !!
Seriously annoyed with him. When he went out he text me, what happened to popping your head around the door and asking?
What happens to are you ok Mum? Do you want anything?, can I make you a cuppa???? Obviously Xbox and gf mean more to him than me being unwell.
I have already had to get up and go into dgs2 as he was crying and having a bad dream.
