Savvy, I'm sorry that your son has chosen to not visit his children on Fathers' Day (although, to be fair, the day isn't over yet)  :( I hope you are able to have an enjoyable time anyway.

We had a video-call with our son this morning. I'm missing him terribly but there's nothing to be done about that at the moment (he lives too far away for a round-trip to be feasible and house-shares so can't 'bubble' with us). Then OH and I went into town to run an errand. Sat on a bench in the sunshine with a cold drink and watched the world go by for 15 minutes or so too :) That's enough for me in one day!

    It's not difficult!
'Wander' - to walk or move in a leisurely manner.
    'Wonder' - to feel curious.

To be honest they are so little that it doesn't really matter that he isn't here as they don't really know what Father's Day is yet. Time will tell in the future.
I keep popping up and down and doing the odd little thing as I think of it.
I have actually got around to putting a blackboard vynl over the shops old telephone number on my swing sign.
I am going to use it to say by appointment only on it.

I love sitting on a bench and people watching. Used to do it a lot on walks with my ExBF.  One of the things I still miss about my time with him.
I also miss his input on the garden!
However if I am cutting out my work load perhaps I will have time to do things in the garden that always seem to get side lined.

So I have had a call from a social worker, who was surprised that I have not had any follow up since court.
He is planning on getting someone involved but to be honest I couldn't really understand him, so time will tell.
DGS1 is in School, fingers crossed he stays there till 1pm
Dgs1 is playing in the garden while I watch on.
I should probably be doing some work but it's Lovely in the sunshine.
The morning has gone quite quickly.

What would happen if school called to say your grandson  had been Playing up, to come for him, and you said - sorry, no can do, I'll be there at the end of school as usual?
i think it Is ridiculous the way they call you to come for him .
    Good point.
What if you had an important appointment?

I don't know to be honest!
I did say to the social worker that if they can't cope and have to send him home we need further steps in place.
luckily he made it through the day but apparently he wouldn't do his phonics in the group, but did eventually do it on his own.
dgs2 has fallen asleep in the buggy so I have just wheeled it into the house and am leaving him to sleep.
So Dgs1 can have half an hour tech time and I will have a cup of tea.
dgd is up and about but still at grunting stage with me.
I will try engaging her again at 2pm!

There are a few things that could be done none of which would put Savvy in a good light SS could be informed ,the child could be excluded if his behaviour puts other children and teachers at risk then they are within their rights to ask the parent to collect the child .

They aren't child minders for one child they will have up to 30 children and need to guarantee their safety throwing things and blowing raspberries in peoples faces does not . She is not doing as they bid she is going as a decent parent/carer

Dgs1 is shouting at the top of his voice "I am going to F a r t my way to victory" as he bounces on the trampoline and the fact that I have told him it's not nice and to stop he's just got louder and started laughing at me. Looks like he is deliberately trying to goad me and he thinks it is very funny. It's not a term I like and with neighbours in gardebsboth sides of us I am embarrassed at it.
I had to take them inside earlier for screaming and hitting each other over a bounce ball. They are like too whirling dervishes at the moment.
I am going to have to think of another way to stop his deliberate vulgarity and or threatening ( and doing it), punching and kicking me.
the naughty step is having no effect and he just turns red with anger and blows a gasket.
I used to be able to side track him and get him calmed down but at the moment he is not responding to the usual chats.
Trying to remember what else I did with the twins but it was 27 plus years ago so I don't remember.
